Thread: Art Team: What Tailors Want (v 2)
Top hats, I say. Top hats, and a lot of the other ideas would look really cool. I'm all for capes and half-capes, and better formal clothing. I'm pretty happy with everything else, except that I want to see dusters/cloaks blown back in the wind. ![]()
Oh yeah, and fix that atrocious two-strap bandolier. I swear, it's a wookie-sized garment when worn on humans - imagine it on a wookie. ![]()
- The color Lemon Yellow.
- Colors to match up when creating shirts and pants.
- Cherry Red, Blue, Orange, ect...Gloves & Shoes/Boots.
My wish is not the clothing
But I do wish for more items to made with a Single or Double Reinforced Fiberplast Panel
I make primarily BE enhanced clothing and tons of synthetic but very little with the reinforced fiberplast panel

Hello all, I was asked if I would be willing to pull the good ideas from the thread called Art Team: What Women Want by Ood_Bnar
Hats – Indiana Jones
What women want? Indy's hat is a fedora btw. I wouldn't mind a Sakket. Though I'd probably wear a fixed cloak more. A sunguard is kinda like a Sakket, but has that stupid thing on the back of the head. For those that don't know they are wicket hats that are somewhat like sunguards. The only show I can think of that has one isSamurai Jack on CN. Kinda weird for one though. If you ever watch anime, whenever they show a holy man he almost always has one on heh.
I'm no tailor, but I know what I'd like my tailor friends to have...
More exotic, martial-looking clothes like the Nightsisters and Singing Mountain Clan NPCs have.
Truly breathtaking, nothing players have come close to looking that cool or deadly.
I was subjected to the christmas special last night. i'm still in shock.
but...I WANT A WOOKIEE APRON.
that is all i have to add. it hurts to think about the special. and btw, could they have made luke any prettier? LOL

That would be due to the car accident he was in early 1977. He had reconstructive surgery before filming started on ESB. That's why the Wampa mashed his face
Thanks for keeping the list. One change I would love to see I dont think is on the list is hosiery that works with existing skirts and dresses. Seems like i be a relatively simple change that would open up some serious fun. Running around with naked legs is just not as attractive
Ok, I'm agreeing that non-Star Wars apperal shouldn't be added (coyboy hats and such). And I'm agreeing that there should be some more diverse variations. I feel that wookies get the shaft as far as selection and color. I feel that there should be more racial wear (at least more twi'lek items). However, I think before we go off and add stuff, we should fix stuff.
Why do some items have limited coloration? They really shouldn't, no matter what the item.
Why do some items have two color choices, but neither are the main color? There's some dress or skirt that you can't change the color of the skirt, but can change the color of the belt and something else, but there are other examples like that, I just can't think of them.
And some items (like the light bustier) that show two colors, but one you really can't mess with.
Before adding items, and adding problems. They should fix the current batch.
Hm…all great ideas so far, let me see if I can add a few of my own (maybe by the time I hit master tailor they'll be available
)
- Racial items: metal horn-sheaths for Zabraks; ridge adornments for Trandoshans; other stuff like that
- Gendered-racial items: I don't know about anyone else, but I have a bit of trouble distinguishing female Wookiees/Trandoshans/Mon Calamarians from males. Can we get something to help these poor souls look a bit more feminine? Feathered frill adornments, et cetera.
- Shawls/wraps: I keep finding outfits I love, and I think "now this would be perfect with a shawl…oh wait. They don't exist." (Wrapped skirt/light bustier combo comes to mind, as does the patterned slip dress)
Non-schematic suggestions:
- Add a togglable warning on item replacement: It was quite surprising when I tried to wear a cloak over a patterened slip dress—having a warning that specifically states which items of clothing will be removed would prevent public embarrassment.
- Allow more clothing types to be stacked: while this can cause problems with enhanced clothing, perhaps allowing only standard clothing to be stacked would work?
Well, that's all I can think of at the moment. Great thread, and thanks for all the hard work, Kwee!
