Am I the only one not in favor of more Wookie clothing? Wookied do not wear clothes. Did Chewbacca wear a bright red and yellow cold weather wookie jacket on Hoth? Ummm....NO. He wore a bandolear. Thats it a bandolear.

By that logic zabraks should be restricted to Darth Maul's wardrobe

And trandoshans? Were there any trandoshans in the movies? Hmm can't quite remember.

No clothes for you!

That said, I think most everyone agrees that wookiees should not be in the same clothing as humans. Wookiee clothing suggestions have for the most part been primitive or functional in nature, just as the ones now present in the game are. Given the huge amount of non wookiee clothing there is, its understandable that they might want a better selection. The devs I'm sure, and particularly the art team, have to find a balance between what is star wars immersive and the diversity and eye candy players want. The fact of the matter is that they at some pointmade a decisionto allow wookiees to wear decorative clothing (beyond the purely functional bandoliers), and they already have plans to add more wookiee clothing schematics to the game. I imagine that like the other clothing, they will be made out of hide and primitive looking. I have heard that there will be a ton of wookiees in the next SW film. It will be interesting to see if they all wear bandoliers

Forgot to mention the 3 Wookie Senators seen in Ep. I & II. Not wearing clothing.

And Maul was not the only Zabrak seen inthefilms.

Haven't tried it yet (will have to try tonight with a belt since I don't make them) but can't you delete unwanted schematics out of your datapad? I know we can the waypoints and schematics made for the factories. But if we can't then I think that would be the thing to do. Is to make them deletable that way if you don't want to make that item ever because you hate it you delete it and send any customers looking for that item to another tailor.

Well as a player enjoyment aspect of the wookiee's clothes I think it was a smart move to allow them. Even though there are many color patterns and choices to wookiee appearance, it still lacks the ability for the human perspecitve to acknowlege a certain 'individuality' or 'confomrity'that clothing choices provide. It makes the gameplay as a wookiee more comfortable and interesting for its human player. And, if said player doesn't want to wear the clothing, they don't have too.

I'm just playing the SW devils advocate Vandessa. The devs won't listen to problems let alone requests so I am just promting a friendly debate. Obviously I am a SW junky so I have a tendency to bring that to the Tailoring forum where often consistency with the films (which is a declared goal of Lucas Arts) is not much of a concern. Its all good.

OMG, it's the Wookiee Smock!!!!

And check this one out to see why the Wookiee Smock was created:

I always wondered why SWG gave us this garment. Why would wookiees want a garment that covers up all that wonderful fur? Answer: because it covers up all that wonderful fur on Wookiee extras who don't actually *have* fur underneath!

Now, how come *we* can't make wookiee clothes in red, is my next question!

Wow my s#*t got called pooo. Nice find on those images. I stand corrected on the Wookies not wearing clothes in any SW media. GIVE WOOKIES EXOTIC LEOTARDS!!! Sorry. And Vandessa I do consider you a friendly debater.

It is amazing how well the art team did with much of the film clothing. I guess we now know where the Wookie smock came from. Although I can't seem to make it in that bright red??? Hmmm....
