Give us XP on everything we make - currently it is either by design or by bug - but as a novice tailor - 2nd level field wear and 1st level casual - I get nothing for fiberplast panels, metal fasners, simple shirts, nmaiden dresses - etc. May not mean much for masters but for us just starting up the tailor tree every little XP helps.

Hmm, all those items you list come out of the artisian tree. And currently, it's either one type of xp or another. Make tailor stuff to get tailoring xp.
Okay, one thing that is really bothering me is that fact that you can't wear jackets over the tactical body suits or infultrator suits but you can wear vests.
I'll second that sentiment!!! I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be able to wear jackets, robes, or cloaks over a body suit. Maybe there's a clipping problem with some jackets, but I don't see that happening with robes and cloaks.

Here's another idea for ya.

Create a log for us to track who accesses our vendors. That way if they didn't buy anything we can email a special note asking if there was something in particular they were looking for that we could make for them.

You are in luck Desirae, over on the merchant board the correspondant reports that the next publish should both fix the need to re-register the vendor and extend the sales on vendors to 30 days

I don't know if this has already been posted or not.. but I'd like the ability to SEE necklaces when i'm making them? or perhaps in my inventory? it's annoying.. going through different necklaces trying to get the colors right to match something, and you can't even see it.

As a person who took up tailoring right after SWG came out and was mastered by two weeks into game, I've been tapping my foot along with those new to the game (& profession) about the fact that a lot of tailoring issues have been highly ignored (although we always get told otherwise). I love my job, I love helping people look good and understanding our profession, but, am highly close to giving it up because things honestly just aren't changing.

Well since ya asked....here are my biggest complaints...(well today anyways)

1. Color issues. As tailors should we not be able to dye anything regardless of material etc. our own visions? Give us a color wheel for pete's sake (think EQ style, even though I hate to mention it) and make them true color!!!! If a customer wants to be so bright the enemy sees him coming from 400m away then by golly we should have the means. It's totally aggrivating that somet things are a duller version of THE SAME FRICKIN COLOR!! therefore thing don't match also. And the leather pallet needs to be made the same....it's no fun when you want red boots to match but you can only have pink, white, black, or that funky banana yellow. All pieces should be equally dyeable and made vibrant, clothes make the man! (or woman in my case) and I would like to seea diagram that perhaps labels a color...really hard to remember whether I picked the 3rd purple on the 3 available purple line....as opposed to an 03 over it maybe? And I would like customers to be able to see a color wheel so they can tell what's available....me telling them...or them telling me just does NOT help withouta visual...."uhm yeah I want that green...you know the darker one."...mmmkay I have at least 4 different greens available....with 7 blocks in each one....so "that green" is really NOT helpful.

2. FIX BIOENGINEERING ALREADY! My biggest questions lately come from people who want these special tissues (constrictor cloth etc.) in the clothing but I can't help them necessarily because the things they want require factory dupes...and until we can run huge amounts of those tissues we can't incorporate them into our synth cloths etc. in our factories, to useon upper items...which are usually what people want them thrown into. Heard rumors that some people can...but until it's idiot proof and tissue crates abound...then well it's not fixed to me.

3. Bring back skill enhancers...not sure where the heck people got the idea we made them...but being that I haven't seen any dropping in at least a month...bring them back...and make em good! Otherwise sockets are just completely pointless.

4. STILL can't see necklaces when making them....and I know that's been a thorn in tailors sides since July.

5. More Creative Reign. You know...as a tailor I'd like to have an endless possibility to create my own style of clothes etc...of course thanks to the graphic download from hell we can't do that or we'd all be in lag central...however, it would be nice if we were actually given a bit more free reign over clothing....an ability to place a pattern, or texture affect (shiny vs. matte or fuzzy looking), or tie dye, etc. over certain pieces or whole items. Making them more unique. Or even a pattern system of sticking a particular sleeve style on a particular bodice of a shirt to make more options available...so madame x can get her low cut top with puffy sleeves or her flared bell bottom pants with the back pockets and lace on the hemline of her skirt in plaid....even the little things can make a diff esp. to a tailor who's bored with the same ol' same ol'. I'm sure you know what I'm getting at...and there's a heckuva long list already in things we'd like to see schematics for.

6. Clothing Decay. Ok that's really fair...you buy a piece of clothing and it lasts forever....FOREVER I TELL YA....so unlike armorsmiths we get NO repeat business unless someone wants a new color or look etc. Clothes should decay the same as weapons and armor or even buildings and machines....why do ALL other professions that make player useable things have a decay rate...but NOT tailors? Can we say hard to get repeat business? Afterall...people can only shove so many clothes into their banks, homes, and backpacks before they're completely out of room....and already have every available color and style, and, since the clothes don't decay, won't ever have to buy another. This is another LONG STANDING issue.

7. Clothing Restrictions. I don't care that some things are race/sex specific items...however, I would like to see an auto plasteredwarning such asMALE ONLY or WOOKIEE ONLY etc. on the items...it's a real pain in the butt to have people buy things and then complain at the tailors because they are not able to wear them etc. and although I'm almost always available to my customers and if I see them ask or attempt to buy something I'm sure is for them and not wearable by them and prevent such disasters...when I retire and my vendor takes over...and granted I make a HUGE caution on the description on my vendor....but, I shouldn't have to. These things should be clearly posted for anyone who examines an item. It would be nice to just have two listings that have notes per item...such as Male/Female/Unisex or Twi'lek/Wookiee/Trandoshan Wearable Onlyetc.

While I still have plenty more to say on the subject...these are the biggest issues, and I'm sure I'm not the only one to complain about them...nor will I be the last.

I truly enjoy my profession....but it makes it really hard when things don't get fixed or changed. I'm sure many will agree.

Just a few things....

1. Why do I have a crafting station In my shop and I cannot even experiment anymore ? This needs fixed.

2. Vendor Timeouts. Make personal vendor items last 30 days and remove unusedcatagories on vendor.

3.Ability to advertise. Master Tailors should be on the planetary maps whether they have t he merchant level or not

For the record, I have not read through this entire thread, so if someone came up with this before me, I'm sorry.

Now that I'm a master tailor, I want to factory make many of the commonly-bought items. I made a run of 200 black dusters to feed the need of the gaming public (and vomited the whole while), but I had a brilliant idea....

I'd like to see a skill... perhaps a master tailor skill, that allows factory runs of random clothing colors. Picture this: doing a factory run of paramilitary camos, and each item that came out of the crate was a random pair of colors. That would help me immensely! I'd love to factory make a lot of my clothing, but restricting to one color makes it not worthwhile.

While I have plenty of black dusters, I still have those rare fellows who ask for white or *gasp* green! I have to make those by hand.

I'd like to see this as an added feature... it's not necessary, I just think it would be a cool idea.

Could you suggest the Grand Healer's Robe be unisex? The Doctor's Dress is, why not the Grand Healer's Robe? I have a lot of male customers that wnat to wear that robe and are seriously put out that they cannot wear it.

I apologize for the separate posts but here it is. Regarding decay rate - what's the fuss? I have customers that come visit me practically everyday for another outfit. Regardless of whether or not decay is implemented, customers will come back for more. I'm not worried about repeat business, people come to shop because they've decided on a new color scheme for the day or the week. After day after day of this, the color palette gets exhausted. My bigger problem is I need new styles to present to my customers. Most of them have almost everything the tailoring schematic can offer and almost in every color. What they want now are new styles - clothes, shoes, jewelry, headgear, etc.,

We want decay rate because we want repeat business? Fine and dandy.. but I'll bet I'll be hearing the wails of anguish and the gnashing of teeth when someone's favorite outfit disintegrates and they have to go get it remade again. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against it, but I have never ever had customers complain about their clothing not degrading.

Well hiya all and glad to see tailors trying to get things going . I am a master tailor on Sunrunner and have been asked for several things like robes with hoods for males and capes I mean come on this is SWG right . If you watch the movies there are way more clothing designs then we get now so this is one thing I would like to see happen . I would also like to see the colors broaden and get more colors for shoes of any type and gloves as well. I would also like to see more wookie clothing or at leases some sort of leg wraps . Well and as far as the rest goes i just want to see all the bugs fixed with tailor or some display that doesnt take the slots in a structure so we can show people what things look like when we dont have a picture our selfs to look at . Well and for my last rant I would like to see something that lets others choose there own colors and style of clothing i am tired of making several colors of the same piece of clothing for someone and then they say well you can put it on your vendor and sell it right.
