- handbags/shoulderbags
- catalogs
- more jewelry
- VISIBLE jewelry (in trades, vendors, bazaar, etc)
- more customization of cloth and colors. (slick Darth Vader Leather, lace, satins/silks)
- hats
- pockets that work! we have pocketed pants... how come they can't hold small items? pocketed belts too!
- Pet collars
- it rains... how about umbrellas? Not so useful, but it would look really nice.
- clothing that had more purpose. (Armoring, cross-class requirements, added skill powerups. BE can make a few, but there are a huge number of skills that could be enhanced)

Gun holsters for leg, chest and waist.
Swordsheet on back for one and two-handed swordman
More sleeveless clothes.
That would be a sword sheath.... and there should be one for the waist (on a belt) for fencers too, not everyone likes wearing them on the back.

yea, what he said !
And on clothing that offers protection... I like the idea. If we get this, the best item we can make should fall short of any decent armors, and require the purchace of a new type of armor segment from a armorsmith (balance for them buying synth and ref. fiber). And a novice armorsmith should be able to make the base kind of this new armor segment, and a master armorsmith for an advanced version. Or to pull from the existing armorsmith lines, just allow the use of the protection layers in this new, armored clothing. Only 1 type of protection that way, and nowhere near the strenght of a comparable piece of armor. These pieces of clothing should also be unable to be worn with armor for the most part, after all, it's not for combat, it's just for a little extra protection while you're doing your daily business.
Yes, keeping the nighttime brighter is the reason everyone I know turns up gamma on their monitor. But the nighttime in-game is meant to be that dark. It's supposed to be kind of hard to see, it's nighttime! Personally, I find it very atmospheric and creepy, to be out in the wilderness when night falls. If you're adjusting your monitor to make the nighttime graphics brighter, then you won't see any in-game colors at their best. I keep my monitor adjusted for working on web graphics, and while the black on the clothing isn't as dark as this page background, it still shows pretty obviously as black.
I didn't mean to imply that I turn my gamma or brightness up. I also do web grafix and I want my colors to be the proper color. I meant that my gamma and brightness are already solow, thatI already see nighttime as almost black, whereI can barely see my char, andI have to use my light.
If you turn up your gamma, you may see that the color you are using for "black" is actually just a very dark brown, Black should have no tint just as white should not. It should be empty of any color, that is the definition of black. If you try this and get a grey, then I will try whatever you tell me to do.
If you've seen him looking that dark with your monitor settings, Iguess they gave Vader the sucking-out-all-light black color, which is totally appropriate for him. But the black I have is dark enough for all my customers who have their monitor settings adjusted to the way the game is intended to be seen.
Please try not to imply that it is my fault that I have this problem. Some people may be fine with the darkest color you can give them. But in my eyes it isn't black, so don't try and say that I must be using the wrong settings because I am not seeing black. You have no idea what my setting are. Plus I have pointed out that vader has the perfect black that I want, so it is in the game, but has not been given to the tailors for some unknown reason. This same thing happened in UO. The only way to have black was to get a special dye tub, because they never gave the tailors black. silly.
I just don't understand the obsession with black outfits anyway, I often try to show customers other options. I guess I just giggle when customers tell me that they want all black to look "unique" and "different." It's our number one selling color, so it's really not that "unique." I actually really love it when someone lets me make them a brown outfit, or a tan one. In SWG that's a much better way to stand out from the crowd!
Imagine if you will that they never gave the tailors say white, only a light blue, or light brown. This is what they have done with black. It is one of the most basic of colors and they haven't given it to us. Its an obssesion because it's used in everyday life and should be in a game that imulates life.
More gear for fashion conscious and combat oriented Wookiees. You humanoids have a bunch of stuff to choose from where we Wookiees have a dozen or so (I think) things which we can wear and we're all starting to look pretty similar to each other.
