In general i agree with all coments so far, this is my 'order of business'

1) Colors (Same palette for all clothes)

2) New Schems (Including alot more headwear)

3) All BE Tissues usable in more items (not restricted to just synth cloth or fiberpanel)

4) Look at Socket situation

Not a tailor, but I'd really love to see hooded cloaks, like the one Lord Nyax wears. That would definitely add to the game. No one else agree?

Also its been mentioned that faction armour should be craftable. How about faction uniforms too? You could have a quest for the schematic maybe (depending on your faction).

I really agree with this line-up. The color pallette is definitely the biggie for me right now. One pallette would rock! And shouldn't that technically clean up the code? Having the bright colors that IDs have would really help business. Some kind of built-in color identifier would be an extra bonus. I have my own system for identifying colors, but that doesn't help when I'm trying to match to something I haven't made.

No. 1 in my book is palettes that match! No one likes to give their customers mis-matched outfits, and then have to give the ever-present excuse about the palettes! Also, having brighter colors to match peoples hair would be an added bonus.

I would love it if we could learn textures. Imagine how this would expand our clothing lines. Here are some possible textures:

- wool fabric

- polyester

- metallic

- leather (traditional leather)

- stone

- snakeskin

- fur

- feather

- crystal

- canvas

With the full range of colors and several different textures, there would a near infinite combination of outfits!

I've been a tailor for ten months and a master for at least nine. I think this is the first time I've ever posted in the tailor forum.

Right now, though, I have to say that I can exist perfectly well with the profession as it is. Sure, I'd like more colors and BE options. I'd love some new schematics.

What I can't survive is a vendor item cap. My entire business is built on having a large seleciton (1300+) on my vendor. I can only play a couple hours most days, so if I can't keep a vendor stocked, I might as well go TKM.

Think about it: a 100 item limit means that you can even put one of each thing on your vendor; 600 items means maybe five of each thing.

Wake up tailors! Unless you want to start peddling in the plazas in front of the space ports, the biggest issue we have is vendor inventory caps.

With the vendor limit around the corner custom orders will be much more important to us, for obvious reasons. What we need now is the ability to put items on a vendor that only a specific person can buy. I don't know what it's called, directed sales maybe, but it would help tailors a lot since we could reduce the number of items that people might want to buy. Player A send me a mail stating she wants a a blue this and an orange that. I make the items and put them on the vendor with A's named attached soonly she can see and buy them.

1. matching colors preferably numbered

2. YELLOW and others too

3. schems (don't forget all the kick butt NS and SMC clothes!)

4. BE/SEA issues (as if the BEs aren't overloaded enough from us and the Chefs already :tongue

To solve the Merchant issues.... it's simple... give Artisan 3 a vendor (that's 3 vendors for Master Artisan)and an extra at Novice <Crafter> and one more at Master (Total of 3 if you are a straight Tailor like me). Dump the entire lousy Mechant profession, move Architect and Shipwright into the gap left with the vehicles (and crafting tools?)for the Artisan parts.

I hope you don't mind me posting an idea. I'm not a tailor but if tailors could craft special boots/gloves for trandoshans, that would be awesome. My personal reason I want this is to give myself more slots for Skill Tapes, but adding this could also improve your market. Alot of trandoshans would start asking for them when they first come out....

Are you suggesting, however, non combat related tissues? If so, what would be your top choices?

the non-combat tissues i'd like to see.. terrain negotiation, crafting bonuses (med experimentation, armor experimentation, weapon experimentation, artisan experimentation along with the same proffessions for assembly), healing bonuses (speed, mind enhancement, battle fatigue) This would at least help control the horrendous inflation of SEA prices, bring a little equity back to the 'have-nots;' that is, the people who can't spend 5 million credits on a +5 skill tape.

I brought up the factioned clothing a while ago and still think it's a great idea. If it's included in the mythical GCW revamp, well, I guess we'll just have to wait.

Hello. My tiny two-cents. The presented list of priorities makes sense, but knowing SOE's graphic resources will be probably maxed on JTL and new content, I would propose we detail more clearly what precise problems we want fixed and new features we want applied for SEA's. I agree with the above description: add the ability for BE's to craft non-combat enhancements. Thanks.
