A few comments...
- I don't think we should ask anything about our role in the GCW, as the answer will be that it will be part of the revamp and they can't say yet
- for the category issue, it was the merchant question this week, so you can get rid of it too
- for JTL... well the only thing we can ask is more schematics for pilot suits etc I'm afraid. But that could be included in a more global question about new schematics.
Thats why i stated that we ask the dev's what they invision our role in the GCW being ![]()
Also i would like to craft flags, like how they blow in the wind at starports
My question would be:
Can we expect to get schematics forthe non craftable items such as the Metal bikini bottom, Newb Scout Vest, Robe (found on most EntertainerNPCs) , etc?
or...
Will we ever see a clothing color kit that Tailors could craft to make color matching easier?
Outside the box but still in the tailor framework? How about:
- Faction logo'd clothing. Shirts and jackets with sholder patches and chest crests. Don't argue about canon. faction holo-emotes are here as well.
- Make flight suits mandatory for small-ship pilots (ka-ching!)
- crafter quests. craft something for storyline NPC's to get rewards/loot/schems that are useful to the crafter. Progress through different NPC's to reach the uber-schem or whatever. And shouldn't be so easy that it's laughable. Should be some degree of difficulty. ie - NPC asks for some pants and vaugely describes them, but you have to figure out the right pants. Like the hermit quest was back before it got disabled.
that's all for me at the moment. Not sure how 'outside the box' that really was.
P
out of the box?...............out of the box.......ok.........hmmmmmmm.........LOL everything we do IS in a box.......why can't we have less options? I mean there is the select the item (necessary), put in the components (necessary), then there is the "this is what your making" (...NOT NECESSARY!!! because by then its too late! you use the resources!! they are goooone!!!), (if you are using a crafting station) Schematic or object (cool! and necessary!), Color choice!!! (but here they fool you..because it isn't really a color choice! its a shade choice!!! and the ones that match OH WAIT!!! they don't!!!)
Ok..I am not upset!! really! I mean, I only made 4 shirts to match one pair of pants that ended up NONE of them matching!! Realy! I am not upset! ![]()
And once again.....the Leia Skirt to match the bikini.....and what is supposed to go with that other bikini.....cause no one likes those bikini pants......"they make me look fat!" I have gotten that SO many times!!!
I can't think outside the box any farther than that cause I don't do GCW....I don't wanna be a pilot......I don't wanna make space craft......I make clothes and ID people.......and I love it.....I really and for truely hope that they don't mess up the Tailor prof or the ID prof with JTL...I would be severily upset!
Ok, I am done ranting!
Toodles!
Nac
- craftable saddles/tack for mounts. colors, styles, etc etc

Okay.. we're all kinda mad about socketing... I think Arthur's right about getting some hard numbers.
How about this:
Currently master tailors seem to get 4-socketed items about 10% of the time. Obviously, they would like to increase this percentage. What factors go into determining the number of sockets an item gets? In particular we would like to know about 1) clothing experimentation rating 2) clothing customization rating 3) clothing assembly rating 4) crafting tool rating 5) crafting station rating 6) any foods. Which of these factors will increase the chance to gain sockets, and to what degree (numbers/percentages please)?
