I agree, no more bugs--something positive instead, i.e. inquiring about our involvement in any new content that we know is coming

I think whether or not we are involved in the crafting of Jedi Robes is a great one to ask, and I also think that has a good chance at a juicy tidbit that other professions would thank us for. Aside: I wouldn't mind if you have to be FS to craft them, or if we only craft special components, as long as we are involved SOMEHOW(oh yeah, AND no limited use schematics). The other good thing about this one is that it's referring to content that's on the horizon and so we might get some good info. Whereas, if we ask about our GCW role (cough: unforms...) I bet we'll get the: "the dev team has to committee more about that before I can tell you" response from TH.

My other idea is kind of a long shot, but why not try to get a clue about the new species for JTLS? Do they have species-specific schematics like Twis and Wooks? Since its pointless asking about species specific schematics for the other species (Bothans man, it's all about the Bothans)

oops... wrong button posted before I was finished.

Anyhoo, I think we should concentrate our efforts on things that will be higher priority. Anything schematic or art wise is going to get the "Not until after JTL" response. I think concentrating on our role in GCW (uniforms) or Jedi Robes will get us a more definitive answer, since these are items with impending deadlines, and more likely to get us the answers we seek.

I would love to see an interface like the ID's got. That alone would save not only us tailors tons of grief, but the player base as a whole. The dye tub idea, in my opinion, would render an entire skill tree obsolete (unless experimentation was reimplemented).

ok, another concern of mine, for quite some time now.

Jump to Light Speed :

When this expansion hits most players will be leaning towards pilots and shipwrights, and will basicly divide the game into two, and ive a feeling the more populated side of the game will be the ones who are in space, or making space ships.

Basicly my concern is that there is several crafting proffessions who may well get left in the dust as tumbleweed flies through the shops and the cities become desolate places.

Im sincerely hoping this wont happen, but i dont know enough about the expansion to really know if this is possible.

What is a tailors role in the new expansion?

Well here's what I was wondering... but maybe I can sneaky in a question on this behind the scenes...

Not all of us want to fly spaceships. Hell I don't. I'm one of those kids who couldn't catch a ball (as it slammed into my face breaking my glasses). For some of us, we don't want twitchy commands. What other new content will there be in the JTL. Why should uncoordinatedpeople like me bother to buy it?

But that's just my personal question (framed in not a very pleasant way).

Like you N'jessi, ive just no interest in going for pilot, and i really hope they dont intend for the expansion to cater solely for pilots and shipwrights, as it will basicly eliminate the other proffessions and turn the game into a flightsim.

So i may decide to quit the game after this expansion, depending on how things work. if i can continue to play the way i like (run a buisness other than shipwright, which requires customers to visit me) then i will continue of course

Wooo! Yes! I know we discussed and requested long, long ago; a UI similar to what IDs have now, but boy howdy yes, can we ask about it again? I would love to have that UI before/after feature while helping a customer choose colors and styles. Before I hit assemble.

As for the JTL, I'm not interested in being a pilot nor in making ships. My plans are to become a professional passenger. Or ship my cargo to places I cannot go... Hmm. Maybe there will be a cruise line that stops at all exotic ports for vacationing burnt out crafters. Heh.

I don't even plan to buy JTL, its bad enough playing one buggy game I don't think I could cope with 2!

I'd like to know if we will ever get a full colour palette, or at least an improvement on some of them, will we ever be able to make the uncraftable looted clothing, and will we ever get Leia's skirt to match the bikini?

A few comments...

- I don't think we should ask anything about our role in the GCW, as the answer will be that it will be part of the revamp and they can't say yet

- for the category issue, it was the merchant question this week, so you can get rid of it too

- for JTL... well the only thing we can ask is more schematics for pilot suits etc I'm afraid. But that could be included in a more global question about new schematics.

Im a master tailor and I dont think we should have anything to do with the jedi robes. I dont think yoda went to a tailkor and said:

"Makes this robe you will. Defense modifications add I will." LOL

I mean seriously thats like saying a master weaponsmith should have some component a jedi would need to make his lightsaber. Sorry guys but I have to disagree with those of you who believe we should have some role, no matter how small in making jedi robes.

Now maybe a new schematic that is identical to the jedi robes but without the mods of course. I would be so down for that! oooohhhhh hooded cloaks! *drools*

Anyway... I put my vote on these questions:

With jump to Lightspeed, will tailors see any new content to keep planet based tailors alive in the game and GCW? Such as imperial, rebel uniforms, Color pallete additions to current clothes etc. I know that may seem like more than one question but if you add the Such as or for example libe you can throw in more than one

Whats our role in the JTL expansion?

Can tailors go to a "Fashion Critic" and vote for the best new outfit and get a limited edition (50 uses maybe? # would suck)schematic they can use. (this would mimic the musuem director on bestine if any one is familiar with that)

Anywho thanks!

New palettes. Perhaps have bright rows added behind the existing palettes (hide and other color challenged palettes) like they did for ID if for whatever reason it's technically difficult to switch all the palettes over to a big universal gorgeous palette.

When will Tailors Be able to craft Flags.. ? In the Form of being able to select Color Paterns and maybe a selection of set Symbols similar to the DAoC Guild Tag Design Method.. ( although More freedom in Color Layouts) and Would it be possible for these flags to be able to not only be used for PA's, Guild Bases, Player Cities, and The new Ships For JTL?

Sorry to intrude but this is something I have always wished could be done...
