Thread: Vote: Most useless piece of clothing
I'd love to see, but don't have the time, someone do a breakdown of fashion trends by server. Some of the things I've seen people list in best-seller threads have been my worst, and the opposite I see here. The heavy reinforced jacket/reinforced pants in bright colors has been one of my best sellers ever since I got the schems. Warm hats went through a very popular phase, and I even had someone order 3 crates of them, renamed to "party hats" for his PA's grand opening bash - he handed them out as party favors.
If anyone is ever bored enough, and has the time, sort through all these threads and see if we can determine the "Most Fashionable Server" ![]()

but the winner is...
Maidens Dress! OMG who would wear that!
hehe I sold 2 - I made them Black Dress with white sleeves - gotta know your customer base.
The worst is a tie between warm hat (but chritsmas is coming - think santa and elves costumes) and crafter pants.
I don a warm hat once in a while for kicks. Mon Cals and any hat are a winner. I even wore a brown warm hat I looted for a while as it looked so amusing.
In fact I am countering this thread to vote the warm hat as the best tailor item we have!
Honestly, I think the crested vest is by far the worst. I made one and only one, and that was for someone's Peter Pan outfit.

What's with the longsleeve gown and the pokey things in the chest region? Yuck.

Crested Vest....never made one, never gonna. *gag*
Reinforced Pullover---big whoop its got 4 colors now...its really a heinous article of clothing anyway haha.
*no edit button*
Oh on the Tight Jacket....rename it "Sleeveless Gi" and watch how many TKA's buy it. With the pantloons or the two tone skirt, its a hit with the men. Just make it black of course!! *wink*

All the belts except the Grenadiers and Cartridge. They are just too dang clunky! Rank sash! No backpack with it?! Yeah right!
If they woudl just aow the items that use Cargo Pockets to actually have storage, I think we'd see all these items used more often. Did anyone else notice in the patch notes:

You can now wear a backpack with Grand Healers Robe, Grand Ball Gown, and the Luxurious Gown. Why you would want to desecrate such fine dresswear with a backpack is beyond us, but you can if you feel like it.
Why woudl we want to? BECAUSE WE LIKE TO CARRY A LOT OF STUFF WITH US!! Just accept it, dont fight it, and give us what we want! 20 item storage in a utility belt and ammo bandolier, each. How about a "ladies purse" or a "Briefcase" or an equippable satchel?

Actualy, it's because we can only fit 150 frickin items into our house, and have like 300 different resouces and factory crates on hand to do business !!
My vote is for the Paneled Boots. I can't make these attractive no matter how hard i try.

I can tell you what's been big on Scylla's Tatooine:
Crested Vests: I know, they're horrible. But when I wore one around town for a few days, I was besieged with requests for the darned things. Most folks had never seen one before, and wanted to be the first in town with this 'hot new item'. *shudders*
Reinforced pants: Always worn with the flex-form shirt, if I remember the name right. For a while, it was all about having a pair of the moo-pants, complete with the matching shirt -- and it didn't look too bad. From a distance.
Decorative Headdress: I kid you not. One friend of mine teamed it with a dress robe, I think it was, and was an overnight sensation; again, could not keep up with the demand for that duo for several weeks.
Black-and-red Paramilitary camo's: The bane of my existance. They look horrid. Really, they do. But everyone wanted them, black with the brightest red possible, and with a red and black spec-ops duster (no-one cared that the two reds didn't match).
Peach: Yup, peach. Anything in peach. Pilot's jackets, bustiers, skirts, pants -- sometimes it's even guys requesting it.
Pullovers: (Except for that hideous reinforced one; even with all four colours, it's still a travesty, and cannot be sold. Cannot be given away, and I've tried) These became huge with the ladies for a while, since on their own they make excellent mico-mini dresses. Well, when teamed with hot pants, or else your undies show when you run; that produceda few cries of horror.
Decorative vest with two-tone formal skirt: This is our current Big Trend. On the average day, I sell six or seven of these just from the vendor and the bazaar -- that's not counting the masses of requests I receive for them. Sometimes folks want pants, usually they want the skirt, and for the first time, I can sell those godawful sandals, since everyone's figured out that this is a very martial-artist look.
