The glove variations... such as link-steel, leather work glove, etc. They are hardly different, and can't even take on good colors.

I'm suprised this hasn't been listed yet. Short skirt, affectionately known as the skort. I had one person request one because she'd never seen anyone wear one, but she'd seen it on my website and wanted something different. As soon as she put it on, she realized why.

My vote goes to the belts. You can't tell them apart (with the exception maybe of the cartridge belt and the grenadier's belt), and they don't fit worth a flip. Every one of them, allowing for scale, looks like it's three inches thick, at least, and comes off as a hoola hoop, especially if you're female. And god help you if you put it on with a jacket.

Second vote would be for almost any of the skirts that aren't floor length.A few of them are barely acceptableand the resthideous. Theybadly need somenice looking shorter skirts (especially minis).

WARM HATS!!! What are you on? They are the BEST!

I Love the warm hat bcause it is just like FEZ!

Bwahaha. I worked up causal line first just to get to the warm hat asap!
Of course i rename them all "A Fez" but that is beside the point. Personally the warm hat is my Favorite item of clothing. And i also sell a fair amount although i sell them discounted at half the price of what my calculations tell me they would be if they were any other item of those resources.

I actually like the Decorative Skirt - makes a nice component of a "careerwear" look. My main problem with them is more with clipping and such when you're moving in them, but I rather like the design itself.

Yep, I got outrun to three of my nominees, the crested vest, the tight jacket, and the short skirt. To that I'll add the reinforced pants (and almost everything with "reinforced" in the name).

I will stick up for the decorative skirt, though, because when paired with the dress blouse and dress slippers you get an excellent look for professional women, like crafters, medics, or musicians.

As for the Warm Hat, I've been sticking passive biosensors into it, dyeing it pale green, pale gray, or pale blue to match the medic's scrubs, and selling it fairly well as a medic's hat. What's the only real alternative, the swoop helm? Most medics I've talked to hate it even more.

And I see people wearing them. And every time, I think the same thing: "Dear Ghod, don't let that person ask me if it makes their butt look big." Because it does. Those pants have huge, thick, padded, baggy saddlebags, which make even the skinniest dancer in the galaxy look obese. And I don't have the heart to tell them that.

Let's go down the curse of the reinforced clothing, too.

Reinforced Jacket: Ugly length, ugly neckline, silly looking trim. Not the worst jacket in the game, but you can see there from here.

Heavy Reinforced Jacket: No heterosexual should wear this jacket. It is so butch that it looks ironic, or overcompensating, or both. Gay men, on the other hand, should wear this jacket, in black. They can combine it with black reinforced pants with blue patches, which at a distance will look like someone wearing black chaps over blue jeans, thereby completing the gay leatherman/Village People"look." OK, maybe a goth girl could get away with wearing this over some sufficiently feminine black and white skirt ... but she's still going to look awfully butch doing so.

Reinforced Pullover: This used to be the second ugliest piece of clothing in the game. Now it's only ugly if the tailor makes inappropriate color choices. This can actually be salvaged now, which came asa huge shock to me when I tried it and it worked. But it's still weird looking, so basically nobody buys it.

Of course, as Dennis Miller says, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Oh, now I have to differ on the heavy reinforced jacket. I make it in bright colors, then pair it with a set of black infiltrator leggings, black gloves and black pumps or boots, and it looks great, especially on women. That's a cool pattern. It's also one of your few options for a combat BE modified jacket besides the spec ops duster. I've actually sold several of them, and they do look good.

This is an interesting thread, as much because it's getting us to disagree on some patterns as agree on others (some are obvious no hopers, he he).
