Thread: Our question: ANSWERED!

Armor is equippable at 0 con, but provides no protection. However, stats from attachments still work on decayed armor pieces, I believe.

Same with clothing, except clothing provides no protection anyway (well... there's bio-engineered clothing... but you know what I mean).

As a tailor the changes are welcome. On the other hand, as a Carbineer I'm not looking forward to seeing my modded clothes poof. I always just figured they should let us remove attachments from sockets, seems to me that would be a win-win situation for tailors and customers alike.

Yay!! We are getting somewhere!! What worries me is that it may be too little, too late. Publish 10 would be somewhere between July and September. That is a very long time to wait. I replied to Thunderheart about this and a few other things.

I want to be optimistic about this, but I read TH's response and all I can see is "We'll look into it" as a reply. It's kinda like his post when he said they were giving us something for wookies, and we get pillows to help armoursmiths.

Just like armour that hits 0/x condition, the stats from powerups or BE tissue should never drop. But armour provides no protection and can be worn. Perhaps this is the critical bug issue with clothing. It works just like armour. You can equip 0/x armour and it looks like you are in armour, but you have 0% resists in everything. For clothing, it doesn't matter except the skills and the look. If they change both armour and clothing to beunequippable at 0/x condition, then this should fix the problem. No one would equip armour at 0/x condition anyway. Of course if you never take off the clothes, then you might get around that as well - eww.

So it's publish 8 in a few weeks, then publish 9 and then publish 10.... sounds like a long time to wait, and I hope that NJ keeps their feet to the fire on this one.

Let me start by saying great job NJ! Longest question in the group

"Why can't they be made removable like powerups?"
If you remove a weapon power-up it goes into some aleternate dimension where powerups go when they die. You don't get it back, you do it only to put a new one in

WTH is with the male Jabba schematic?
1: I've already completed Jabba's quests. Can they be reset after this is added?
2: Will it be randomly male/female?
3: I think I've sold exactly ONE Exquisite Leotard since they became available. Still have one whole extra schematic. These things do NOT sell well.
4: Will we be getting a non-loot version of this item?

ok...i'm going to go post this in the question thread LOL

I know what you mean, I've sold about 6 of these altogether, 10 in storage and another 11 schematics in a stack. (BTW it's fun to stack these, each one up ten and rotated 10. Produce a lovely spiral with enough ) They really do not sell well and I can't imagine the boy's one selling much better. Considering the male to female ratio for dancers I expect to sell very few.

Though if it's not male only, and only takes up one clothing slot then I could see it selling better than the leotard, adds to your skills without taking up as many places, maybe? All depends what sort of item it is. Never know, it could be a "unitard".

Why didn't I listen to you and refrain from the clicky? I need to wash my eyes with soap.

I closed the web page, but the image is still scarred into my brain! I'm going to have to poke out my mind's eye now.
