Thread: Gotta love this

'shirt'
Nothing else. At all. Just 'shirt'. I'm sitting here like o_O;
So, I don't /addignore, but just simply don't respond. Then I get 'is that a no' Followed by a 'HELLO'
Now, at this point I was getting really annoyed. I was never ASKED for anything. No hello, no 'can you make me a shirt', just 'shirt.'
So, finally, after a while and I had been hoping the guy just went to someone else, he sends me a tell 'are you too busy to make me a shirt'. And I was like **edit**, **edit** this and sent him back a tell(not word for word)"Listen, all you sent me was 'shirt'. That is not a request nor a question. You didn't ask me anything." Because at this point I was annoyed. So, he replies back with something along the lines of being 'sorry to bother me' and 'going to someone else.' And I was like ok, great, but you better send them more than just 'shirt' if you expect much of a response. -.-
silly... when people say "shirt", you say "pants"

Okay, I have to tack on a funny story with regards to this..
I was sitting on SWG, reading the forums when my boyfriend called me. After coming across this one, I simply had to tell him about it (which translates to: I burst out laughing on the phone and he wondered why). A little while after, I check on Nefret and see this series of tells:
(boyfriend)tells you, "tiger lace man bra"
(boyfriend)tells you, "is that a no?"
(boyfriend)tells you, "are you too busy to make me a tiger lace man bra? oh and I wanna be unique.. make it black"
Bless his soul
Cheered me right up!
Oh! I love this thread. What a good time to drag it back out. Hmm. I have a "Good Customer" story. (There are several but this one stands out because it just happened yesterday).
About 3 weeks or so ago, a guild mate was chatting with me about BE clothes (he's hard core elite combat but was grinding BE at the time for the Jedi dream). I explained to him that I don't make them in general, don't stock them (agreement for non-competition vendor sales with fellow guild tailor) but that IF I have a few nice BE tissues on hand, that I did, on occasion, do special custom orders for friends and guild mates. He explained that our guild BE tailor was currently MIA (he was and still is, sort of - long story) and told me he'd provide crates of tissues to me, more than enough to make his order, and I could keep the rest for my use. And once he had his BE outfits, he was dropping BE to go after the next holo thingie. So it's not like we were arranging a long-standing BE-Tailor contract. (Which is another reason I won't stock BE clothes. If I can't keep them in stock reliably, I am not going to stock them at all. Seems lately, the Chefs have the BE market) Mmm. Okay, so I agreed to this. And I sent him a link to a BE clothing site I like so he knew what could and could not be done.
So yesterday I get a mail from him, listing this huge batch of BE crates of EVERY kind tailors use, that he'd offered to my vendor. Following that was a list of clothing he wanted and which tissues in which garments (all listed by their correct names and all correctly matched to what tissue would go into each garment) and his preferred color choices - with my option for what looked best for color combos, texture and palette limitations for each item. And he added at the bottom of his mail... "No rush. Thank you."
*hugs the MBH/Commando, Flamethrower-toting, Temporary MBE* I LOVE customers who know what they want and how to ask for it and take the time to find out what is available. And are courteous enough to realize we are all busy people. Whether in game or RL. No rush. Love this guy.

Me: Way to go! Keep working on it!
X: u can't teach me?
(Now I happen to have engineering for making furniture but that's not the point)
Me: No, sorry can't do it.
X: ok (wanders off)
