Thread: How would you make swordsman a better damage dealer?
You just don't know when to back off do you? I think it's pretty obvious now who is the one that is doing the agravating and provoking in this thread.

And again I ask Velocity-x have you gone and looked at a completely post-CU powerhammer? Not the hammers that are made with pre-CU cores, but totally and completely post-CU. If you had you wouldn't be saying what you are.
The last totally post-CU hammer I saw made by a 12 pt FS smith barely topped 900 damage with 122 SAC cost. And that is a master level weapon.
I'm not trying to argue. I'm just asking if you have looked at any post-CU hammers with post-CU cores. Compare it to any other melee weapon and it is pathetic.
From a completely swordsman standpoint the weapons available to us are mediocre at best. That's why I stand by my stance that in order to improve swordsman damage (as KreyMerr asked) that we need better weapons. Obviously the specials (atleast the damage specials) are adequate considering all of the other melee professions use them. The only other profession with a comparable damage attack is pikeman with Impale. And I'm willing to bet that's why you yourself use swordsman with fencer weapons, because of the special attacks.

and just to this comment....i at least know the good pvper swordsman on sunrunner, use atleast 1100 damage PH's.....and they seem to beat the gius with the funny fencer wepon

And it really isn't that hard to make a Post CU hammer that Matches a Pre-CU hammer you just need to know what to look for.
i Crafted this useing geonosian cores +15max on yellow cubes +12max damage pastes. experimented full on action giving it -10SAC.
Put it into a power hammer maxed out the damage and the rest into SAC which went to 1045 2.82s 109SAC. Got the Max damage Slice 2%Speed Slice and 3%crit hit Chance on it and got it to 1128 2.76s. Slimilar stats to my Good Pre-CU hammer which is like 1134 2.74s 104SAC. \
just go to the geono Cave with a Few Peeps and camp there for a bit and if you get lucky enough to get good stat Pastes and cubes bring them to a good WS With 12 points and have them Craft a this power hammer for you. Cuz i believe by now all the Really good Pre-CU Power Hammers Are probably gone from the Vender now.
But this is also a cheaper alternitive then buying a Pre-CU hammer.
