Hmmm, it is right. Rifleman are the Nuker,Swordsman comes second (maybe third after crabineer? not sure).
Reason? Ranged will go down faster when attacked. Test it:
Stay close to a lair with a ranged prof. Both lvl 80, no foods. Now Ranged attacks Lair and doesnt run. Down in 1-2 seconds.
Melee will last longer (how much depends on exact template).
And SOE says: Ranged is supposed to do more damage.
Is this right? Not sure. When they are able to root, snare-kite, 80m-sniper-shot me... I would at least like to have some damage.
And: When I use a PH with SAC-PuP (I think it is around 80 SAC then) and duel a guild-m8 with MLS/MDef and whatnot using a 100 SAC saber I (repeat: I, me, not him) will run out of action first. Both spamming specials like crazy. (And Ilost after several minutes because I fumbled with healing and CoB... not enough coffee?) Anyways: A little less action-cost onSword-specials, pleeeeaaaase? Please, please?With sugar on top?Would help a lot.

hrmmm i have no problem tanking at all...I do alright damage, I'd like a stun attack ( a root too since we have to chase everyone in pvp) i mean come on you get bashed in the head with a hammer, you gunna be able to fire that gun that second after? I think not. Beserk is stackable kinda with CoB so not too worried bout that seeings how i'll have my high as hell defenses while beserked...works nicely, yes i want a fricken sword ...a what? No! A SWORDSman with a SWORD?!...gee willickers DEV's who'd a thunk it? no offense to then heh just playing...But that's my wishlist, not holding my breathe
