Heh, i don't notice the acc hit because i'm nearly maxed on acc mods and i take citros... and i'm also never blinded

my PH is 256 min so I actually hit for more than with my scythe, but I'd go along with ya and recommend the scythe for melee opponents and PH for ranged (unless you're like me )

i only got a few acc tapes myself but i am a speed capper, althought theoricly they shouldnt be a reason why your PH perform better in accuracy/status application than the scythe still since the scythe acc mod is better (usualy)


I think i need to make a new section on the guide about weapon selection and what is right for your character, what do you guys think?

Yes, I have just started Dropping Master Squad Leader/Master Rifleman after an unfortunate episode I had in the Anchorhead Cantina where two IMPs killed me after I ran my @$$ off for 2 Kilometers. I was pissed because all that SP was wasted and I couldn't do a damn thing to help my self as a Squad Leader...
When I finish my new Brawler template I'm going back and killing everyone! -even the rebels

Accidentally went to the brawler forums and found those 2. One is about warcry and the other about intimidate. The uses the guy wrote down in them are phenomenal. Tried em out in a duel and they worked, especially warcry 2.

Nice post, although i did say that weapons are best picked according to your toons. I personaly save ALL food and drink space for survival method. as long as you stay alive you can win is my motto my +18 scythe is still godly.


They are pro and cons, the best person to judge what works best for you is yourself all anyone can do is give you options. the way i fight for me is 2 arisha 2 brandy enough room for canape is i get mind poisoned, and still be able to stick in a moun gold. In no way do would i say you shouldnt use critos with your power hammer but there is a down side, whiles your scythe isnt dependant on that for a regular performance. Thats why i say carry a few weapons, i know i do it gives me flexibility the joy of PvP is that not everone you fight is that same and some requires different tactics than other.


I would point out tho that for melee fighter your min damage is the most important stats so unless you have acklay hammer the better option is your scythe (most of the time). with speed cap a good acklay hammer can be your baby, you just need to be abir more awear of that status but it gives far better performace that the scythe with patice (if you are speed capped)


now that i writen that and we all had good dicussion on the topic i will add the section to the guide, arias if you dont mind i may need to quote your post, let me know if it's okay

my good acklay hammer is like 500 max condition now have to get a new one soon (and i hope to god it gets damage sliced, i had 4 acklay hammers sliced and only one got damage)


yea, everyone should experiment for themselves and see what comes out. its the best way to do things for sure. i know a lot of peoplewho can't work with my tactics because their template is different or they have different gear, etc. but generally they work for people with similar templates (thats why i never need canape,/curep andno more poison )


heh, i remember back when def stacking wasn't capped (did swords in december to go along with carbineer)... that was entertaining , nothing like 215 counterattack+CoB to piss off those ranged people. i wish i could still do that rofl.

I recently picked up some pikatta pie and used it for the first time last night. Wow, it was amazing, I'm master swords/tka/bralwe/3000 fencer/medic 0040 and with a CoB macro going I was practicaly unhitable. I was dueling a rifleman/tka and he had me dizzy and KDed and he hit me like once out of 10 or so tries from ideal range with his jawa ion rifle. Moral of the story, use pikatta pie. I usually have 2 brandy 1 synth 1 citros and now 1 pikatta and I pop a canape if my mind looks like its in trouble.

Also aboytPvP against combat medici think is good combin swordman+doctor.. u can heal your poison
