Thread: Top Issues Brainstorm
Hmmm, basically what everyone has asked for, would still put us at less strength than we were before the bleed and warcry nerfs. Were we gods then? lol
If you're going to whine, go do it on the rifleman boards, or some other profession board that isn't gimped like ours. You might as well be complaining about a bum asking for food on a street corner because you didn't get lunch today.
Fencer may have its problems, but you can't deny the fact that swordsmen also have many problems....a lot more so than fencer, in fact.
I never once said fencer had problems, I like it the way it is. It suits me just fine, damage wise, defense wise, and everything else. What you fail to realise is that every profession has it's pro's and con's. Fencer's have great defenses, low damage. Swordsmen's have high damage, low defenses. Each has it's purpose. Fencer was meant to occupy the mobs while Swordsmen were meant to kill them. There is plenty of fencers that want pretty much the same that you guys do, except they want higher damaging weapons and like you guys different kinds of weapons. Swordsmen want the higher defenses and still want thier damage output, if not more damage, that is pretty much wanting to add to your profession and not have any balance to it. That is not how the game was made to function. I'm sorry for all you power gamers that don't get everything you wanted. If you did, everyone would just be jedi's and there would be a pointless game. During the movies there wasn't that many jedi's to begin with, and towards the end there was only a few. If you want to be a god go play Black&White where you actually are a god. If you want to roleplay and know your role, then stick around and the revamp will fix a lot of things for all combat professions. I didn't come in here to flame any of you Swordsmen, I just wanted to let you guys know a few things. And by all means stop by the fencer's forums and look through a couple of threads you might be surprized at what you see.

that's ridiculous. all melee profs get a measure of toughness (in fact Swordsman is tougher than Fencer)...it's the ranged fighters that need tanks
were trying to get something done for our class that it needs fixing.
I like the AP+1 idea...
anyways... I think bleeds should cause 1/2 the initial hit in WOUNDS... and increase the damage timer (at least in par with the new ham change) THis may help give bleeds (not just ours) some more utility
I am not whinning, I'm just saying that you guys aren't as broke as you think you are. You just don't like the way that you guys work.

Accuracy and 2 hand melee toughness.
I actually like 2handspin2.
A dizzy OR knockdown would be nice. Its a little too much to ask for both.
Another damage type would be nice but only if the other brawler classes eceived another type also.
Lol, don't let Ruehs get to you. If the other classes want something, they should ask for it on their boards.
