1. State defenses, I for one would like a little more bonus vs Intimidate, swap the mods at box 3 and place it into box two add additonal in box four like all other professions. At Master add in another +20 that so we have a total of 60 or so.

2. Damage types, and weak other weapons. Vibro Axe and Cleaver. Cleaver is nice, if agood slice, mine is 128-284 compared to my Two-handed curved 79-307, so better overall damage. Vibro Axe needs damage type changed since it is only ap1. Otherwise adding Ap2 will just be another clone of our weapons as it is.

3. Melee/Range defense, I'm not asking for a lot just another +20/20 in the profession.

4. All melee profession: TKA has the ability to stop bleeds/poisons/disease/and at Meditate 4 even heal wounds, give us all a reason not even to think about adding that route, maybe built in defenses and all classes get some sort of "Ritual healing" not saying to cure wounds, self buff, or FoW ourselves, just let all melee be able to heal ourselves somehow, without going that route or doctor.

5. With food accuracy can be over come, but I'd like to see another +20 or so in the Master box.

6. Give bigger races bonuses, this imo is common sense, I'm a giant Trandoshan andI bet I can swing this hammer a little better than a human or bothan. Wookies should also get bonuses, but this would require an entire redesign of melee combat.

7. I don't do pvp, but we as armorsmiths are trying to "nerf" armor, because frankly composite is to good as it stands. So I maybe our only good pvp weapon is the scythe since it has a good base(mines like 240-400after slice) But with 90%kinetic..ouch, even with the ap2. Damage PVE is fine, we out damage every other melee class hands down.

8. I don't run a lot of missions, but when I do its disappointing to solo and try to pull a high level mission. Mission difficulty needs fixed. Give us the option to grab what we want, plan and simple, this needs to be implemented. If I want an Ancient Bull Rancor Lair for X amount of credits, give it to me. We should be able to grab what we can handle, and I'm sure the terminal doesn't take into account Armor, buffs, weapon stats, our other 158skill points.

I actually do think that we should get greater speed. We are two handed swordsman, so we should be able to swing our swords very fast.I dont know about you guys, but I can swing the same speed as I can with 1 hand (rl) as i can with 2 (rl).


No. You shouldn't get greater speed. The reason is that you have a big huge sword. You can not physically swing a big huge sword at the same speed as smaller sword.


Also, since we can hold big heavy swords, shouldnt we also get dual wielding? I dont mean wielding 2 heavy swords at the same time, just like 2 medium.


Then you wouldn't be a heavy swordsman. You would be a Fencer...


Why do we hav garbage defense and fencers who use puny swords have one of the best defenses in the game? I think a 20 lbs. swords can block better than a 5 lbs. sword.


We don't block hits, we dodge them.


Now if you have anything else to state, please do... As it stands now I don't think you really thought out that post. And for all of you Swordsmen out there, I am also going for Master Heavy Swordsman to go with my Blademaster, so I don't think I want you guys nerfed.

lol, maybe i didnt think it out, but still we should get good counterattack. I mean we dont even counter attack it just says we do. And fencing is used with one sword, not two. We use two hands at a time so we can hold two swords at once.

It has nothing to do with him. All the melee classes have 2 types of damage available to them except for TK. So, if we get another type, its only fair for them to get another type also.

We use two hands at a time so we can hold two swords at once.


Ok, think about this....you use two hands on one sword.....hence the name two-handed swordsmen. It takes two hands to use one sword. Fencers use one hand to use their swords....so we could have one one-handed sword in each hand....how would you use one two-handed sword in one hand, you need two hands to use it.

I hate to say it I disagre with the Scythe being in the top 5 as it is. Rather, I would point out that for not being much better than a curved sowrd or power hammer it should be easier to come by, so either make it stronger at keep the rarity the same, or keep the strength the same and make it easier to get.


I don't want the Devs to get the idea that we want everything handed to us on a sliver plater, we don't mind rare but it needs to be strong, we don't want rare and weak.


Am I off base here or do you agree?

Ruehs, do u seriously think I didnt kno that? I meant that since we can hold a heavy sword, which is greater in weight than 2 fencer swords, that we should be able to hold 2 light weight or medium weight swords at a time. These swords would not be two, two-handed swords, since we have only 2 hands. They would be two one-handed swords. Dont even say thats not reasonable or something for a swordsman, cuz fencers use ONE swords and are based on balance and footwork. 2 swords at a time would slow u down a great deal, and would make u less accurate.

I totally agree with homedudes sythe argument... Rare+weak weapon is silly... If it were GOOD+rare thats ok but its not so lets get the schmatic usage upped...

Besides i think its the only schematic in the game that you have to dodge a krayt for... it might aswell be worth our time.

Aren't you suppose to be Heavy Swordsmen? Fencers should hold the light and medium swords, you guys hold the heavy ones....that take two hands to wield.

2 swords at a time would slow u down a great deal, and would make u less accurate.

I some what agree with you on this. Wielding 2 swords would slow us done, by how much I'm not to sure. I also agree with you about being less accurate. Those two things would be the thing that would balance out dual wielding swords.

I guess ur kinda right ruehs, but as long as we get a new wep ill be ok. instead of dual wield we could get double bladed sword or sumtin.
