Hm, why in the hell Fencer forKD/Dizzy+Intimidate andTKA only for Stunning? Don´t get the point on this....As a TKA u can do KD/Dizzy in one punch and intimidate works with all equid weapons as long as u have the ability....IMO by now Fencer is only good for defense-stacking....May some guys with uber-fencer-weapons or dot-whorse are able to deal damage in pvp but a "normal fencer" will be owned...For landing stats its useless cause TKA gives u all the good ones along withafaik better tanking abilites...For dealing damage its useless cause all good weapons are only AP0...


btw. As a Master Brawler/Sword i can Dizzy with Area3 and KD with Lunge2....So TKA is no "must have" for this....

The reason why I said Master Fencer is because you cap the speed without any tapes and it has better accuracy than sword and tka(4300) and you can KD with lunge2, TKA for stun cause its the only class he has that can do it. I wouldnt try to kd/dizzy with slow/low accuracy swords

Its worthless to keep a complete prof only for landing some stats...sry but thats waste of points...Compare M-Brawler/Sword/Fencer/TKA 4300 with M-Brawler/Sword/TKA/Fencer 0430...


M-TKA:



- Unarmed Accuracy+205


- Unarmed Speed+115


M-Fencer:



- One-handed Weapon Accuracy+170



- One-handed Weapon Speed+90



TKA is spd.-capped too and has higher accuracy as a fencer...along withan ap1 weapon...again no need for fencer but defense-stacking....


btw. Eating some citrus snow-cake and being spd.-capped with my weapons is a big winner...

if you get speed capped, and a good acklay hammer you can be very destructive.

In fact the best pvper on gorath (in my opinion) is a swordsman. He's got an acklay hammer with a max in the 900s or 1000s or somethign that had exceptional bones (that and he wears like a 100 million credit suit hehe)

It's mostly spelled speed tapes...


Once you've got the speed tapes, it's no problem getting the stun protection or the accuracy food to counter your remaining, relativelysmall, problems.

As long as you put a good temp together, swordsman being a primarily offensive skill. You should be fine. My current temp includes master swordsman, and I've owned a few with it. It's all in the template. if you take nuthin but swordsman, then yes expect to die. However taking the proper defense trees can alter that situation. My current temp is Master Rifleman, Master Swordsman, Pistoleer 0040, and Pikeman 0020. It's all combat, all the way. I'm a grunt what can I say, but you wont see me going down to anyone easily, if at all. Swordsman can be very effective if you take the time to learn it right.

This is just WRONG! Swordsman is a capable profession in PvP with some practice and skill. Add a good weapon and some skill tapes and it is alot of fun. And before you say, "But all that costs money...", just how much does a 300dmg stun dildo cost?

i like swordsman for pvp... i dont have an uber build... my template is for PvE MasterSwords/ 0/0/4/0 Ranger/ 4/0/0/0 TK/ 1/0/3/0 medic ... and im not all uberd out with any mods (though i do dream of collecting them) But earlier today i went to this lil rebel base with my speed scythe and caused a huge scene. killed like 8 people. The Rebs who owned this base. ended up dropping two large block turrets and calling in multiple other guilds and jedi to stop me hehe. i died once while i was there after a 25min long fight with a fencer. it was fun and i was just glad that i can hit mind really hard and fast hehe. thats my story it was fun

Well i was thinking of a all combat template too... including one master and get all on defmods... here it is...


Master Swordsman just for the loothunts and ofc PvP with nice PHs or Scythes no problem seen it many times...


Pistoleer 0-0-4-0 gives you awesome statedefs and ranged damage mitigation2...


Fencer 3-4-4-0 again awesome statedefs and good melee and rangeddefs...


TKA 4-0-0-4 its nice to meditate poisons, diseases and wounds away and the additional HAM is great....


my mods look like this Counterattack +100/ Defense Acuity +71/ Defense vs Blind +90/ Defense vs Dizzy +100/ Defense vs Intimidate +40/ Defense vs Knockdown +125/ Defense vs Posture Change +80/ Defense vs Stun +90/ Melee Defense +136 /Melee Mitigation +5/ Ranged Defense +116/ Ranged Mitigation +2...

Fear the Swordsman coming... and try to land the dizzy/kd spam on me... some KDfood and i never go down
