I remember reading somewhere that the devs said we were attacking way too fast.

Well, I headed to the Village on dath today. I took all of my xp in med, swords, combat, pistols, rifles, everything that I had accrued since starting SWG and traded in for Force XP. I had well over 1 million. I instantly picked up all 4 of the melee speed skills. However, I don't notice any difference in attack and when I check my TwoHanded Melee Speed, it's still 75...didn't change at all after picking up the FS skills. What's up St Gabe? Does it register somewhere else or does it "Just work".???
Info would be great....

wait how can you get the melee speed yet?
Thats like a Phase 3 or 4 unlocked quest.
So unless you used a free unlock on it, which you then wouldnt need to trade in xp for. theres no way you got it yet.

This is written where. What are you basing a 9 week cycle on. It is 12 weeks for the entire 4 phase cycle as per TH this equates to 3 weeks per phase.

In order to even qualify to get these boxes, you first need to do a phase 2 quest from Dageerin. For those not in the know, there are 4 phases to the village, with one cycle (all 4 phases) occurring once every 9 weeks or thereabouts. That means from the day this goes live, you'll need to wait about 2.25 weeks in order to even unlock the melee speed branch. That's not that big of a deal, really, but the xp requirement is.

Yea apparently you can now get your speed cap up from +90 or whatever it is. I guess the Force speed doesn't factor into the cap, /grin.

I totally agreee with what is said about melee speed FS row I hit every 2 seconds with a 5.9 hammer all I have for attachemnts is a +1 so it was a huge change. Not to mention I can take an elder down in 20 minutes give or take a couple minutes

+105 w/o the FS speed tree... so i'm overcapped and didn't have to spend any skillpoints on it.
If you're a pure PvEr, go for it. It's a good tree to have. If you're a PvPer, well you'd be better off buying the speed tapes and using every skill point you have for a template.

It takes 4 Skill points for the FS speed. I don't understand why this would interfere with a template, I am Master Sword, Master Fencer, Master Brawler, Combat Prowess Master and Novice Medic /shrug.

I'd like to think that every bit of accuracy you get from the accuracy tree helps a lot too, seeing as acklay PHs are usually -40 range mods and hitting is fencer/tka/brawler is just no fun!!!!
