How about removing the posture change from our best area attack?


We have plenty of posture change moves, and nothing sucks worse than trying to listen to whats going on in guild chat or watch who's looting what when your getting spammed 5X"you failed your posture change" when your surrounded by mobs.

Spin 2 doesn't have a posture changing effect. I guess though, if you're capped with tapes, the best attack would be Area 3, wouldn't it?

Personally I wouldn't like to see bleeds stacking in that way, I just see it becoming too powerfull and I don't think people out there without medic in their template would appreciate bleeding to death , instead I'd like to see bleeds work according to the ammount of mind (in our bleeds case) a target has and then remove a % of it with a tick cap of say 200 inPVP , say you're fighting someone with super high mind, the first tick would probably be 200 (the bleeds damage cap so as not to over power it) but as the mind drains each tick does less damage due to the % based damage, this would make bleeds very nice support but wouldn't make them horrible over powered.

Could be nice in PVE too

i would have to agree, but maybe a suggestion for that would be to make it a random loot drop forall high level NPC's?

nah just make the quest entirely repeatable

just like the dxr-6b is

why does their high end weapon get infinate schematics and ours only gets 2 per person

their dxr has 5 uses per schem as well and our scythe only has 2 uses per schem

not fair whatsoever

No that damn NEL schem is so freaking rare its crazy, Axkva is camped every day and barely drops something worthwhile everyday. Adding it to actual nightsister's or NS elsder drop tables would be a good idea though.

Um, yeah we were trying to boost/fix swordsman not nerf it. If you want to watch stuff like that don't use the attack or switch to your guild channel.


OR


How about the devs only tell you when you actually successfully posture them down as a system message and just put the non-posture down ones in combat spam, this is like when you try to go berserk but you are too calm.

So far I sounds like I'm going to be canceling my accounts when the combat nerf goes into effect.

So here's hopes to the dev team getting fired to delay it longer! =-)


I mean who cares if I can solo almost anything

I have to master multiple combat professions, have atleast novice medic, get the best armor, sliced weapons, food, drink, doctor buffs, dancer buffs, musician buffs.. and then I can solo almost anything easily. But doing so against high end mobs costs a lot of credits due to the heavy damages to my armor and weapons and all the consumables.. needless to say all the battle fatigue so that I have to go back to town and sit afk for a while infront of strippers before I go back out to get my mobs stolen by the 500 Jedi wandering around instakilling everything.


Bleh.

EDIT: Oh yea.. and how about fixing stuff instead of rebalancing classes that most people are happy with? How about removing skill tapes that add to skills that haven't been around since FRIGGEN BETA. I mean come on.. SINCE BETA. Maybe while you are at it you can rename our class to Hammerman. Since our best weapon is a hammer that we get at novice skill level. And what's this about not being able to heal damage taken from doing specials? It's hard enough to keep up with the damage of a PH as it is. Maybe fix it where acklay bones don't drop bugged anymore. Maybe make it where you don't teleport 30 meters everytime you get off your bike. Or let wookies wear crafting aprons...


Or I guess you /can/ do it your way and make Jedi more powerful and make us weaker.

I find swordsman in PVE is fine. always has been.


What we are missing is variation in weapons and the ability to loot weapons as I don't think i've every had a decent two handed drop.


PLEASE give us somethine to go against the annoying number of blast and kinetic resistant creatures. Swordsman on the rebel corvette is no fun at all

Here's one other thing I do like about Swordsman. Right now if you just get MHS and Master Brawler, you're not at the speed cap with all your weapons/moves. I think all combat professions should be similar to this setup, to make it so there is an end game to mastering a profession.

I agree SlippMercato. Even mastering brawler with swordsman gives you 80 speed. You still need at least another 12-13 speed to cap most power hammers. It is a goal for most swordsman to achieve those last points of speed to make their overall expectation of the swordsman profession that much more valuable. I know I am in search to become speed capped. It just takes time like anything else...

This is not swordsman specific but: Remove or lowerthe weapon switch delay!


It really takes away one of the few elements of player tactics in the middle of combat there is right now. I think it's good if every combat correspondent had this on the list.
