My secondary Character I'm creating will probably go heavy swords. Either that or one-handed swords... can't decide just yet. Going master brawler first, then make the decision on how I feel at that point. Ranged is fun and all, but there's nothing like getting face to face with something and hitting it as hard as you can. =)

As a Weaponsmith I can tell you that my requests for swords are increasing greatly. I used to make them only on request and now I must stock them. I never really thought about it relaying into more swordsman, I just thought it was part of the holocron madness.

The most fun I've had so far has been as a swordsman. I'm keeping my marksman skills, though. Never know when they'll come in handy.

"There were young knights among them who had never been present at a stricken field. Some could not look upon it, some could not speak. They held themselves apart from the others who were cutting down prisoners at my lord's orders, for the prisoners were a body too numerous to be guarded by those of us who were left.
Then Jean de Rrye, an aged knight of Burgundy who had been sore wounded in the fight, rode up to the group of young knights and said: "are ye maidens with your downcast eyes? Look well upon it. See all of it. Close your eyes to nothing. For the battle is fought to be won, and this is what happens if you lose."

Go TH! Go up the Offense tree first, okay? Then you can see some of the problems within the redundance of area attacks, and we can get those fixed right up (hopefully)!

Finally made Master SM last week -- been at it since Aug. Only recently learned how to play the game... i.e. pet-meatshield, muon gold, full comp armor, mindshot/mindbleed... yes, I am not a model SM but I finally made it. And I warn anyone who I teach if they really want to this class.

I think you're seeing more because the Holocron told them so.... but that could just be my own synicism.

You know, my first goal was to be a master brawler. But I had so much fun with swordsman, that I just kept on going up the tree. I KNOW that MB is useful for swordsmen. I just...can't...force myself to get 4th lvl blocks in the other trees. Having too much fun already with my PH!

Oh, I was a rifleman before on live...so it makes sense that I really liked sticking to mind hits.

I just recently dropped bioengineer and started pursuing Swordsman to master to go along with Master Doc. The reason?

I wanted to try melee, and I see a swordsman maybe 2 or 3 times a week. I didn't want to be TKA like everyone else in the world is right now. I'm finding it VERY fun right now.

I got really tired of ranged.

I was a master CH with flame IV commando... but, I felt so guilty just using one tree. But, then I looked at the other trees... saw how broken they were. Stayed a master CH/commando for a little bit... got bored. Dropped it.

Already had master marksman, so I picked up the other2 trees of scout. Picked up BH, got 2/4/4/4... pretty quickly. Was gonna grind to Master BH, but didn't see the point if I was gonna drop it immediately afterwards.

So I decided to pick up some melee skills. I picked Swordsman and TKA... TKA mostly for meditate and the extra defenses, but I'm gonna master it as well as Swordsman.

I'm loving the hell out of swordsman. I haven't had this much fun in a while, and I'm only 0/0/0/1.

I'm not following any holocrons... and I plan on showing some choice people on the server what my Power Hammer can do to their minds.

I am not sure I have seen as much, maybe about double the amount then a month ago. I see a lot more TKA, but I haven't seen a master swordsmen in a long long time, about a month and a half ago. I am not a master yet, for one I am taking things slow, and haven't grinded, I am also taking rifleman, so that is twice the exp needed to master. After a week long vacation for thanksgiving I will try to grind both rifleman and swordsmen to get the last 2 boxes in rifleman, and 3 boxes in swordsmen.
