it could be the holocrons telling them to master it. myself and 2 others from my PA had a holocron told us to do that. or it could also be all the people bragging how they can solo ATSTs and Krayts.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I can explain why I took 2H last week. I was a Master Squad Leader/master pistoleer. Mastered both about 2 months ago. Found myself using one mf my profs to great succes while the other became more and more useless. (the introduction of mounts wa the final straw) I hardly ever saw 2h on my server so I decided to try it. Blue smurfberry to whoever can guess which class I dropped to take on 2h :-)

You probably are seeing more swordsman around. Now of course there are the holo hunters but holo's aside I do think there has been a huge shift from a lot of ranged people going melee. This probably has to do with all the improvements melee has seen recently to allow them to do their part in combat and take some hits. I think it also has something to do with the fact that ranged combat is mind numbingly boring. I mean you can only see your toon kneel and pull the trigger so many times before it starts getting to you.

ha more swordman for awhile i have seen more swordman but now i barely see any. i still see tons of tka's and comandos. And on the topic of comandos some of them are really PMO now just cuz of how there flame incaps and don't haeve a stop on the flame so it will kill you jst from one hit. it really sucks. and i think they need to fix this. cuz comandos still use it in friendly pvp and act like asses about it to.

actuaually i have seen a good few more swordsmen as of late... i used to never be asked for training, and now i get it at least two or three times a week...

yeah .. i just hope the will fix some of the other brawler ablitys.. i dont wana see everyone heavyswords like you see tera and commando.. im sure it will never get as bad as ch tho.. witch i was master till the citys came out.. lol.. ive played nothing but 2 hands swords sence i got the game.. love it to death.. think and thin

this week has been very strange.. i will start off by saying that 4 ppl (all rebels) msg me in /tell this week asking if i was a master heavy swordsman .. my reply to all of them was yes.. now ive been a master swordsman now for 2 months.. and i do pvp .. my raids on corrnet have i guess stuck some knowlage in some of the other players heads..

i trained all of them .. and most where askin for 2 or 3 level ups.. and they all came to me.. on talus.. anyways.. i also see more swords around in general when i cruse thro the galixy.. are there alot of ppl getting hollicrons telling them to go swords??.. or you just all now relize the the power of our wonderful true raw power of a skill? =)

Ive decided on swordsman because theres already a million TKA about and I love the medium armour pierce on most 2 handed weapons, thats and they looks **edit** cool, im just finishing up brawler (2-4-4-3) and then I will get my 125k 2 handed for swordsman, I just think the professions looks cool and I got so bored of master marksman...

I havn't noticed that many more swordsman recently, but I don't usually pay much attention anyway.

I started out on launch day as a brawler, and swordsman happens to combine the two things I like most, melee fighting and high damage hits.

Swordsman has the best reputation for damage dealing, while being the most workable. TKA has power, but a lousy grind getting there. Pikeman miss a whole lot. Fencers work well, but don't deal out damage like swordsmen. Swordsmen deal out damage fast with AP2 weaponry. So, which looks the most appealing to you?

I ended up going up the Swordsman tree by accident. I was working on my Master Brawler and when I started with swords, I just ended up having lots of fun. So I've settled on a Commando/Swordsman

Gotta run though...lots to do today...
