Swordsman Archive

About a month ago I was seeing swordsmen everywhere. Every starport, shuttleport ... there'd be a swordsman - somewhere. They I noticed most of them were Fencers... they've the "Swordsman" title ...

I am seeing more swordsman lately though. I dropped by a shop on corellia a few days ago, and there was only 2 other people in the shop - a novice swordsman and a master swordsman - none of us knew eachother - thats amazing in my book

Started off as a brawler, went to swordsman, got a little bit of rifle. Along the way, I decided I could make better swords than anyone else in the galaxy since no one seemed to care about melee weapons, so I bought another account and made a master swordsmith (technically a master weaponsmith, but if all I ever make is swords, wouldn't I be a "swordsmith?").

Definitely have noticed a lot more requests for training lately, and no wonder - I do a search every once in a while for any characters with "swordsman" in their titles - not a one, other than me.

Oh, and for any of you guys on Corbantis- shameless plug here - I make the BEST swords on Corbantis, though I don't advertise (other than here).Do a search for "Masamune" on Corellia (SE of Coronet) for the unsliced stuff (my swords are the best, the power hammers are almost the bestbut not quite), and just hit the waypoint in my sig for the sliced stuff - on Talus. I'll warn you that the sliced stuff is all my leftovers, so you won't find the truly awesome slices there - nothing at 32%+.

One last thing - number of swords sold prior to last week? Two - to the same guy. This week? Four - to four different people.

In the past couple of days on tarquanise i have not been able to walk though a crowd and not get /tells from people asking where a good place to get a ph. And these aren't people holocron grinding because if they were they wouldn't be looking for a good ph.

Alos i ran into anouther swordman on DANT now runing into any one on dant is surprising but runing into anouther swordman is amazing. and theres been a few times when i have seen more swordman tags out then any other proffession in the crowd except ch.

I stoped wearing my master ch tag after i was getting harashed by tells every time i went any where i was frozen in place the first day mounts coming out getting like 50 tells about how they want a mount. so much soi haven't been to theed since then just to laggy.

yeah well that sounds like what i went trough when i was a swordman i had to BUY all my skills cuz there were very few sordman and i never saw them. And btw yes i bought master swordman to.

There are a few swordsmen on ahazi, but most are masters and have been for a while, myself included

Am I the only one that enjoyed being in a unique, relatively small, population of people?

Bria seems to have more pikemen than heavy swordsmen... I almost never see fencer's on there. I got sick of spamming stopping shot, and the powerhammer is one of the coolest looking weapons in the game (especially with a 35% damage slice )

I don't think holocrons are affecting the population much. Those following the holo path tend to grind and drop the profession fairly quickly...

what confuses me is where your finding all these swordsman cause the last i looked there was only one and thats.............................ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
