I was an EQ GM before I came to the SWG team, and yes I knew the game but I didn't know everything. I couldn't have told you how to do the necromancer epic, there are so many aspects to an MMO that someone simply cannot know everything. If you are at odds with the decision that's fine, but really don't bag on the CSRs- it's a hard job and there are a lot of things to keep track of. If anything this brings some attention to an issue that the SL profession faces and raises a level of discussion. Again, don't expect all of them to know everything - heck, I'm a dancer and I still couldn't tell you everything about being a dancer.
the problem with the not knowing statement is this has been an issue that was supposedly addressed already yet it happened again. the Squad Leader corrospondent stated that already.
Addressed by development was what was meant I think (sorry it's late and I'm lost in a sea of squad leader!) not by customer service - which would mean that this is an issue for development to now step in and look at - I mean, I work on the team and no way I memorized everything we've ever patched! Just wanted to clarify that, yes if you are that profession then you will probably hold onto things that were patched but if you are a dancer for instance you aren't going to necessarily remember something patch to combat medic 3 months ago.

I believe the question would be, will the issues with SL spam be addressed quickly?

they won't they'll dodge it like they have Nexican's emails all day long. NeX has sent in a couple of them they will probable stick there heads back in the ground and try and play this off just like they did with everything else. This is rediculous.

We are not being told to avoid using our specials. We are not being reprimanded for having to shout when using specials. This is simply a case of an individual being unreasonable and spamming magnitudes more often than what could be considered remotely necessary. As for AFK spammers, how many have you met who /shouted 17 times a second?
Except from whats being stated by everyone except the csr in the screenshot, he wasnt. He was spamming once per second...in fact in the newest screenshot in this thread(the one where he relogs the first time hes kicked), it even shows it once per second...along with the CSR telling him "Now no more spam" just as he logged in.

Here the CSR blames peeps going LD due to a SL, even though it was explained that the SL ws not spamming commands when that occured
Here the CSR accusses the SL of spamming 1000's of times a second, which is impossible, the fastest it can be spammed is one time every 1.6 seconds.
Here the CSR trys to make some type of a comparison to driving a car at 120 MPH, still trying to figure that one out!
Not trying to flame the CSR's here just looking for a way to be able to utilize this profession to it's potential. Can anyone tell me, a CSR or anyone how to play a SL and utilize the form up command to it's fullest potential without getting banned?
Keep in mind that by moving thousands of meters away disrupts my game style. This is what the Devs seem to be focussing on here. I should not have to move 1000's of meters away from a city if it disrupts my gamestyle, right?
I do not think that there is a SL out there who would not like it better if the spamming was gone in spatial. I get hundreds of Hate tells when spamming specials from peeps, but what is the alternative?
For god's sake the DEFAULT SPAM FOR FORM UP IS "FORM UP SLIMEBALLS" The Devs put that in the game, not the player base!
edit*** the csr's name is keithr no tag in front of his name in the chat logs so u all know!
edit2*** All we want is a definate answer on what is ok and what is not. This CSR bounced all over the charts here with this:
1-Once every30 secs is ok
2-Once every few secs is ok, if in combat
3-Nothing is ok in cities
etc. etc. etc
When asked for a definitive answer he said the depended on the CSR who was responding to the complaint.
Please give us something definitive to go one, that is consistent with ALL CSR's not ever changing.
Lastly for anyone who comes on and even brings up the way this CSR was talked to by me or by Sabrinna remember that the banning had NOTHING to do with that at all and was never even an issue with them at all in emails or in chat, therefore it is a non-issue. CSR's are professional and we all know that they are capable of taking a little abuse and not letting affect the way the do their jobs. Or at least I would like to think so.
