Thread: Banning of SL account for using form up command?

I was a squad leader early in the game. So I can totally sympathise with the player involved here. The notion that a player can be punished just for using the skills granted by a profession is quite frustrating. I can see thewhy SLs are mad ashell. The profession has so little benefits, that having one of the few effectively takeaway during a battle would make me mad.
That being said, I think its a little unfair to assume some personal animus on the part of the CSR. I'm sure at the time they thought they were doing their best to rectify the situation. From my perspective,it appears the CSR was wrong, but everyonemakes mistakes and weshouldn't assume this was anything other than a honest mistake.
I do disagree with the notion that you should follow a CSRs directives regardless of whether those directives are justified. The definace of the involved player has resulted in a positive discussion of a problem in the game--limitaitons of the SL skills--and the nature of the CSR/player relationship. In this case the player was correct, and in the end after some internal discussion I believe (at least I hope)SOE will do the right thing and apologize and approrpriately compensate the player for the lost playing time. Of course, if you going do this you need be damm sure your right or else face the consequesece.
So I suggest we give them a few days to sort this out internally and respond. If the response is still unsatisfactory, then continue the tounge lashing, but keep it on the merits of their action, not just insults of the people or CSRs generally.

Just to give you an update people. The CSR didn't ban him for being rude he was clearly banned for spamming his specials again while the group was fighting in theed. Sabrinna just sent me this SS. So it is obvious that sabrinna was banned due to moving to theed behind shuttle B spamming periods for her profession.

I see no reason why this should not be mandatory knowledge for CSRs. It is only 33 Professions. Not that hard to memorize. I can keep myself up to date, so why can't the CS?
On the Issue:
FormUp has to be used as often as your opponent dizzies or stuns one of your members.
If you have 20 people in your group and you are fighting 20 people, they will not act every second in unison. Even then we would be required to "spam" FormUp once a second.
Now add the fact, they they all do not act in unison. The SL has to keep up with that. So 40 FormUp commands in 20 seconds is a rather low number. The solution to simply loop-macro formUp is rational one. I do not do it, but i know why people use it and i understand their decision.
Now, in combat you cannot just remove the SL. He is vital for the groups ssuccess (despite being horribly broken until this time someday next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Even as a CSR you must not ask a player to move his play to a location of YOUR choice. YOU are not paying for the game. YOU have to provide the CUSTOMER with SERVICE (hence CSR).
Disrupting the game of a customer that does nothing wrong is a slap in the face of your paying customers.
As for the suspension:
Jeassa, you say "it sucks". I agree. But it cannot be done with that sentence. By suspending his account, you cheated the player for US$ 1,50. You basically stole his money. It does not matter the amount it still stays an act of thievery.
Try to look at it that way and you will realize, why people get mad.
Would you not get mad if someone stole your money?
And to make matters worse, SOE is simplylying to his customers. Dangling virtual carrots in fron their customers noses, to grab even more of their money, all they way liying to them and then just looking after the christmas market, despite all nescessary improvements and changes that would have to be made prior to such actions.
It is not only this one action that deflates this situation, it is every single action combined.
The lack of Customer Support to date was disheartening enough, but this robbery is simply too much.

I didn't read all the replies, but it's obvious that Nexican acted like an ass to the CSR. You won't be able to turn this around to unsuspend your character, everyone except your guild can easily read what happened in those screenshots. Just take your suspension like a man instead of drumming up all this drama on the forums. Btw, you could've just walked the SL out of Coronet, the commands will work up to the nearest server boundary.
