My two cents? Grind smarter.
Avoid Dantooine. Go to out of the way cities or planets. Resist the urge to take down npc's with the ls. Don't stay in one place for too long.
That is, if you want to avoid visibility and give the bh's who ARE hunting you a real challenge. I've consciously been changing my habits since getting my glowbat and making sure I'm not stuck anywhere for too long, unless it happens to be in one of my houses.

Defense Bonuses in def buff are determined by size of the group. Larger the group, the max def offered. If there's only a bh and sl, the buff would only look like +25 def for example, but in a full group it might yield +250.
Dmg Bonuses in dmg buffs are static but must be painted by the SL (meaning jedi are out of the equation), and have to be within the range of the SL. As well, I believe this should be group size dependent. if only a SL and BH, it will compare to no greater than a crit shot, but in a full group it will be very, very beneficial.
You guys are SQUAD LEADERS. This isn't a sign from the devs to help bhs, this is a sign of ignorance on their part to bring something in so unbalanced, and I'm sorry guys, i'm just as happy about the revamp. It was much needed, but Jedi not even having a chance, is rediculous.

I think that the OP didnt have you in mind, when he made his post. He had in mind the guy who puts his Alt SL in tow while he goes and hunts. Now I will be the first to admit that if it's in the game it should be used. Jedi hide in houses(part of the game) and BH's use SLs for the buffs. It's all part of the game and in my very humble eyes is ok. I have just started playing my alt if there is no groups going out at the time im on to grind. I wont go to MO, just like in your post how you said, "Not all Jedi" Im sure that is what the OP meant also.
hate to follow the cliche but the majority of jedi really are ruining the game. seems like they feel that every ability of every profession is a direct attack on their own precious profession.
if its not armorsmiths makingbetter armor than their innate, or looted/crafted weps being better than lightsabers, not being able to use pups, or slices, creature handling etc.
you are ONE profession out of 37. the suns do not rise and set on your collective a$$es. get over it.

I get owned by melee proffs, can we nerf those too? no?
MSL mCarb Pistols 0.0.0.4. I'm desent in the field, but I get it handed to me when I go against people of melee. It's all in how you play the game. during battle skirmishes I like the distance attacks. To all those who complain about the damage, I highly sudjest for them to learn how to play. Strange concept I know, actualy have to to stratigize attacks, and think., "it's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog." I got bets that I may ownz a jedi now and then, but I also got greater odds that jedi with strip me appart ( the ones I've been up against are too darn fast).
Hey, here's a thought, Nerf Jedi speed so I can actualy lay a shot on em . That should even things up.
I'd also like to give a hi5 to the MBH's out there for theire crafty creativity and cunning. I've seen some VERY nice stunts pulled on jedi. Now THAT'S playin. ![]()

On behalf of any self-respecting Jedi, I apologize to any SL's for this OP's nerf calls. There is no need for reduction in dmg multipliers or skills. One fix - and one fix only - needs to be made. Make SL buffs non-functioning when a BH/Jedi TEF is in effect.
SL buffs are for group organization and increased group efficiency, not for solo combat. With people dragging around their SL alts and hiring SL's to group with them and spam buffs during a BH/Jedi fight, its simply not balanced. We are once again back to the day where a Doc just sat there and healed the Jedi or BH except now it is someone buffing to increase damage. We've already seen the nerf cycle applying to healing in a BH/Jedi TEF, so how about we just skip to the resolution healing reached and simply not allow anything from another player to work within this specific tef system?
the problem is that jedi are poisoning their own water so to speak. you ever read the jedi forums? they all have this "us against them" attitude. they segregate themselves from the rest of the population.
you think people dont pick up on that vibe? then other players lash out against jedi and it only re-solidifies the jedi mantra. its a vicious cycle.

I agree completely. I do not relish the thought of having someone sending me a tell asking for a buff. It hasn't happened yet, but time will only tell. If they did this, would fix quite a lot. The one thing that still is a bit troublesome though is the bh/sl combo. I'm not sure how I would want that resolved fairly.
I don't think the BH/SL is much of an issue - I am a BH/SL and I have armor with +25 mods to all my stats with energy resist of about 5500 (Assault is all we get) and a 3 way capped ALR (4 if you count the accuracy bonus being capped) and I can tell you this I am never going to bother hunting jedi as it is fairly obvious I wouldn't stand a chance, and if a BH/SL does manage to defeat a jedi either the jedi was bugged or well....extremely bad at his job.
Make it so BH/SLs can't use their own buffs in a BH tef and it won't make a difference.
