QFE, just months earlier. Jedi forums were up in arms because Rangers were dropping Krayts quicker then them.
They were actuallywhining for nerfs to traps because they actually working on krayts!! Surprised? Of course not.
Jedi are going down the list of professions to moan about, Squad leader happens to be next in line. Have fun while it lasts,

As Rangers should. Why? cause they are (were, due to ranger revamp) Hunters. If any prof should be able to drop mobs, it should be Rangers. However, stuff like NightSisters, that's Jedi Territory. Ya wanna drop a kimogila, Send in a group of hunters, you want a base raid, why not a few jedi/ Commando's/ Squadleaders ( technicaly Squadleader / Commando / Combat medic, as war is their territiory).

Shinky,
Before any cry for nerf or a complaint is made about a profession that has anything to with being "ganked" as a jedi, I am of the opinion that the Jedi should first focus on staying off the BH terms. Being a bounty target carries a potential of your death, regardless of what flavor that death may be. You should spend more of your time on the Jedi boards communicating needed changes to the visibility system as opposed to "This profession killed me...can you turn them into Gumbys?!?"
I saw a jedi last night in the Dant MO decide to throw his lightsaber at one of the low level NPC's out of the blue. Why? That makes you (jedi) hunted. Why duel another jedi at a starport? I even ask why hunt in the area around the Dant MO? You know that a large number of people are there riding about and increasing the likelihood of you being spotted with your glowstick waving around. This may not be your (Shinky) playstyle of course, but it's obvious that these are the habits of jedi in general. If that's the case, you guys should be one-shotted even if I use a thrown wortt.
Just about every complaint I've seen from a jedi is how another profession affects them adversely. Balance always seems to be the issue. You are one profession in a galaxy with a variety of other professions that do other things. How you can sit there and complain about the existence of skills within other professions while you don't even play your ownCORRECTLY is beyond me.
This reply is addressed to Shinky, but most of the comments within are directed towards jedi in general.
Wow thanks dude - I didn't even think to consider this aspect!
/salute
BS. You can stay off the terms. Many have done it, even those who grind in crowded areas. Pay more attention to your surroundings, if you see a dot, STOP USING FORCE. If you can't pay enough attention, then move somewhere else.

oh and another thing about jedi keeping off the terminals its impossible to do unless you dont use your jedi as if your out grinding you always get the morons who like to drive threw your group to give you vis now explain to me again how a jedi can stay off the terms

i fully agree with the fact that sl need to be nurfed as ive just been messing round with some friends and they managed to drop us in 1 hit on a jedi's point of view its far to high the damage multiplyer no one stands a chance against them for instance one of my guildies with this dmg multiplyer on hit a full temp jedi for 3.5k instant incap if it dont get changed there gonna be alot of people quiting.
theres my two cents
your 2c aint worth **** it is literally impossible for a BH to one hit kill a jedi, unless its not a BH mission and they are guild warring or overt fighting and even then it is very difficult to do - much more difficult than beating them down the old fashioned way. No one will stand there waiting for the minute it takes to prepare yourself as would be needed to pull off such an attack. If you are trying to pretend that your friend is capable of doing such attacks with a BH tef then I think you should report him for exploiting the skill points system, because it is unfair that he has the 275 points necessary to have a temp capable of doing such things and the rest of us don't....
I think your friend should be nerfed back down to the level of the rest of us players.

yup i know plenty of jedi that never have been hunted but maybe once or twice... its really not that hard if your observant and try. although i'm sure it only happens in a set up situation and not an actual combat situation, thats a shame that jedi can get one hit incapped... i know how it feels, been getting waxed by jedi since they bred like rabbits all so seemingly long ago. welcome to the getting pwnd club!

My two cents? Grind smarter.
Avoid Dantooine. Go to out of the way cities or planets. Resist the urge to take down npc's with the ls. Don't stay in one place for too long.
That is, if you want to avoid visibility and give the bh's who ARE hunting you a real challenge. I've consciously been changing my habits since getting my glowbat and making sure I'm not stuck anywhere for too long, unless it happens to be in one of my houses. ![]()
