Ok kinda "you had to be there" but:
Im MS / TKM but dressed in noob brawler clothes with novice brawler tag on headed for shuttle in Kor Vella Starport and spots a wook novice smuggler asking if people have containers he can open. Suddenly he sends me a tell-
<wook in tell> Hey there, sorry to bother you, but you got any containers or mol' clamps i can buy from you?
<me in tell> Arrgh busted, how you see thru my disguise
<wook in tell> you sliced a flamethrower for me a while back, I added you to my list
<me> aah i c , yeah I got 3 here you can have, have about 40+ at my house though -(keep them for novices, I'm nice like that)
<wook> SERIOUSLY!!!!! how much for 20, 20k ok?
<me> nope, call it 10k
wook begins to tell me how he would like me to somehow father his hairy little offspring and hugs me repeatedly when
NoobLoon slaps you across the face
Turns around to see some little runt in novice marksman clothes (checked to see he wasnt doing disguise thing like me,3 explor' badges, no proffs')
<me> oooh you didnt just slap me boy
<NoobLoon> hurry up before I kick your ass NOOB I want my weapon sliced
I'm speechless, all I can do is laugh at him
<wook> Hey, why dont you try being nice NoobLoon before you get yourself into trouble
<NoobLoon> Slice my weapon Wookie before you and your boyfriend here get hurt
At this point I suddenly regain my speech
<me> I suggest you go away little boy
<NoobLoon> Or what NOOB
Noobloon challenges you to a duel
<me in tell to Wook> He's challenged me to Duel (Turns out he challenged the wook too)
Decides I hate him enough, and incap him in a couple of shots

Finds out from Wook that the guy is sending him tells for a slice while incap' and the Wook was 'good' enough to tell him I was master Smuggler, NoobLoon gets up
<NoobLoon> hey your a master and you got novice on, Slice my weapon or I'll tell -(Who he's gonna tell I don't know)

guess the please got me, (plus I was curious what weapon he had and how much I'd enjoy breaking it on him -Trades me a D18)

NoobLoon starts commenting on wook being a novice and how he sucks and various things about the wooks family members.

Wook pulls out a flamethrower and cremates NoobLoon on the spot

Brought a tear to my eye, as the wook emoted'offers marshmellow on stick to passers by, freshly cooked on NoobLoon'
We actually sat around him singing campfire songs, 2 other people joined in too haha

Ok I have been a master smuggler for a while, but I don't do much public slicing, and I don't sell a whole lot of spice. I only slice for my buddies and my vendor does not get to much business. Should change when the smuggler revamp happens (in 2134).
This story happened yesterday to me, when the guy who actually got me to play this game, a few months after launch got mad at me by being unfair to him. I was doing the Rebel Theme Park on Yavin IV seeing how short everyone from the movies are, when I send a a tell to my good ol buddy (hmm what should I call him, ok meglo for meglomaniac lol) Meglo. Convo goes somethign like this.
Me: Hey buddy I sliced that Scythe Blade for you, and dropped off some reinforced sword cores, got them as a loot and I won't need them, go ahead and keep them. (I am good to my friends, as a smuggler sometimes you have to keep some honorables around to bail you out sometimes, plus its good to have peeps to help you with the harder dungeons lol, to bad this guy should not be one of them).
Meglo: Hey thanks man I am sure I can use them with my alt, thank again.
Me: You know I might have to start charging you here pretty soon (I owe him alot of credits from the beginning of the game, but I slice for him constantly and am half tempted to tip him his money back, plus extra to get him to shut up. Not very smuggler of me, but this is OOC crap, he says he is a RPer but he does not do it to well sometimes.)
(Long pause, very long, did like two missions for Jan Dodonna, talking with a few of Ayden's "lady friends", as he is a bit of a charmer)
Meglo: How much you gonna charge me? (I knew where this was heading, I have known this guy RL for like 13 years and have RPed in about everygame imaginable)
Me: Standard fair 100cr/% (sounds fair, he drops things off at my workshop and then I send him an email with all the results, just tally and pay like my other friends do)
(another long pause)
Meglo: How much would that be? (I can just see him getting pissed IRL, he is actually with a girl who is a friend of mine helping her find some stuff on Tatooine, actually just attempting to woo her with lines that are as cheesey as mine, but not as well spoken, she says he starts to act funny)
Me: At most 3500 credits, I won't charge below 20% (pretty fair for a guy who just bragged he broke two mill that day)
Meglo: Is that the friend price (Great, here we go, gonna try the RL guilt trip, would be easier if he was not one of my best friends lol, even with his attitude)
Me: hmmm (at this point I was gonna cut him a break cause he gives some of these swords to his PA, which I am an "unofficial" member, and helping him out helps out a couple of other RL friends of mine)
Me: I will tell you what I will knock it down to 75cr/% (was more pissed off about more math lol, than taking a dip from my pockets), I still need to cover my bases, slicing is expensive.
(another long pause)
Meglo: That is messed up you can go grind unlimited money (then I start to get a bit more irritated, I am a RPer first, who thinks Solo groups are wrong, and welcome armor nerfs to sponsor group hunts on harder creatures, as it stands now I about walk through anything that randomly spawns on planet surfaces aside from Krayts and give me a medic and I could probably do it.)
Me: I don't grind money that often, I don't like doing it (which is of course the truth, have more important things to do than hunt for cash, like RP and have fun)
Meglo: how about if I give you WUKs, could I get a discount. (he is fishing for a discount from really cheap slices already)
Me: It is not the WUGs that are expensive, I can get a novice WS to make them for me cheap, it is the clamps cause they take so much resources.
Meglo: Ok I will go get them off of the bazaar you would be amazed how cheap people sell that stuff, then you can slice for free.
Me: Just tip what you think is appropiate (at this point I just want to be left alone, and I can't /addignore he has my phone number lol)
Meglo: Fine, I will pay whatever (I know he was upset cause he bailed on this girl he was wooing after he found out she was talking to me and logged)
(Some people just take this to seriously, I am only grind money when I have to, and I am getting to the point where I want to slice publicly I just am always in tell hell as it is, and when I walk through a star port with my master smuggler tag up I get mobbed lol.)
(just my own frustrating story to add to the best thread on the forums!!!)

man I never get these kind of tells, course I'm the kind of person that will ignore someone after he/she sends me one tell. I don't have a lot of patience I guess...

Ha ha ha ha. . . I now make it a point not to talk to ANOYNE in the newb clothes. In fact as soon as I start a new character the first thing I do is buy myself SOMETHING else to wear, even if it is horrible and only costs me like 50 credits. It's worth it to get some self respect.
Oh I do the opposite, I just be nice and considerate when I make a new character, and then everyone asks me what other servers I play. But honestly, I wish them devs didn't make Tatooine a newbie place. It was cool WAAAY back then when we could pick our own starting planet. I was really shocked when I resubscribed after about 9 months or so and saw we couldn't do that anymore. Then I saw the speederbikes.. You guys are so spoiled.

I'm slicing in Coronet, had some good slices (45% encumberance in some buys chest plate) and some bad one (5 crappy speed slices in a row on someones stun battons when they wanted damage), when someone hands me this exceptional T21.
I apply the molecular clamp and she says the fatal words..
"I'm hoping for a good damage slice".
Oh dear...
She didn't get it, ended up with a 17% (IIRC) speed slice. She was good about it though, but I did warn her of the risk before hand.
