Yeah, I'd probably send an application in but work, real life, college, and the fact that Fishbrains, Geevo, or JTGAlpha should be the new correspondant kind of negates that a little bit

If the modified statement is true, then don't apply ... but if it is not true...Apply. Do not worry about who else is going to submit an application ... Let the Devs choose who they want. If they think you are the best, the community will support it. Including myself. However, if you are really too busy, then I totally understand.

This made me balk last night. I had written up a rather long submission and then after skimming through the forums a few last times before clicking submit, I came face to face with a cold hard fact. I have only been a Master Smuggler for a few months. I was a Smuggler for a period last year during my tryouts of various professions, but I never went to Master and it was not for a long period.

To add to your note here, not only should the candidate be a longtime smuggler, but I also feel the person should not be on the hunt for Jedi. A person who is dedicated to being a smuggler regardless, but also has a first hand knowledge of other professions and how they relate to smuggler. Not a hologrinder, but someone who has tried out many of the professions.

I wish all the applicants luck, I'm sure there are many of you who would do a fine job.

I too would prefer one of those grandpas It surly feels odd when you know more about your profession's history than your correspondent does.
