Thread: A chuckle for the smuggler

You know, I really love feign death.
So I head out to the Tusken Bunker to pick up some pistol xp, and as I am laying waste to the Tuskens outside a barely new Master Marskman desides to jump in and start shooting too. From a great distance thinking I would tank for him. So I sit outside the bunker waiting for my mind to slide back up and hope he takes my bait.
He sits next to me and waits for me to start heading into the bunker. He has on no armor and is not buffed. I thought excellent. So I head inside knowing a couple more tuskens to be around the corner, wait for him to follow me in and start shooting at them, and feign death. I was half hoping for a "what happened to you" responce from himsince my HAM bars were maxed but was lying there on the floor. I just wait for the tuskens to kill this guy, then I stand up and finish out the bunker and pull the xp I need to get to pistol tech 3.
Don't go poaching anything off a smuggler. You might find it doesn't agree with ya.

Ok this is my very first smuggler story thats happened to me, as i just got master smuggler last night.
I just finished my spices IV training in town on lok and needed a master smuggler to train me. None of the guilds Msmugglers were on so i headed to the starport. At the starport i ask if anyone can train me in Msmuggler. I see a bubble pop up that says "I can Help you with that taarm." Im like sweet im this close to being master yaday da. So i go up toher and group. About this time the shuttle lands and im waiting forher to train me...she disappears. So i go **edit** and head to theed. I show up in theed right next to her and she screams out taarm is stalking me or something and then runs off. We are still in the group and im like **edit** why hasnt she trained me yet. So i ask in group chat if she could train me and her reply "No...I said i can help buff you..."
/disband group
not much but it was rather annoying lol but 2 min later i found a wonderful master smuggler that trained me and i thank him for it.

For some reason my mind started drifting, thinking about things Smugglers can do for fun if bored.
There are probably a lot of these ideas alreadyspread out over our forum, but thought if anyone had any great ideas, post them here in the Chuckle thread.For example,playing tricks with the spice downers used to be fun.
For example:
While waiting for a transport in Coronet, quietly pull out a boom bot, andget a friend to duel you.

Maybe start it all off with some fake insults of each other to get the crowd into it.....
As you start dueling,start screaming something such as "AHHHH! my head! It hurts.. How are you doing that! Quit it!"
Keep screaming for a few seconds while secretly setting the detonation timer on your boom bot...

Two responded that they were in Tyrena and they'd wait there. The other two responded that they'd be in the guild city on Talus.
I get to Tyrena and one gulid member told me through guild chat that he was running missions and to hold onto his crate until tomorrow (today.) I told him that was fine and delivered the other guild member his crate.
I take off to Talus, I give them their crates, and tell them, "Enjoy. It's still cold."
So even though we can't officially "smuggle" yet, beer runs will suit me for now.

Last night I was in the Coronet cantina and got a /tell asking for some slices. I didn't feel like slicing at the time, so I said "Sure, I charge 20k a slice" in hopes of him leaving me alone. He said "Okay, meet me at the starport." 60k for 3 slices seems like a great deal, no?

I got a story from a long way back (hint: Moenia had people in it)
anyay, i was slicin some containers and one failed, so, since im such a jackass, i but the one i failed on in the bazzar for 2k. a day or 2 later, i got an e-mail sayin that someone bought it.
im sittin in the cantina and i get a tell from the guy who bought it from me.
(the following is completely from memory, and this was months ago, but anyway....)
guy- yo gimme my f**kin money back.
me- (/feigningnorance) what?
guy- you sold me a container and it says it was failed in slicin before.
me- how do i know you dident try to slice it and failed (hey, he dont know im a smuggler)
guy- why wuld you put an unsliced container from the bazzar
me- why would you buy one
guy- cause im tryin to master smuggler you dumbass
me- well thats a shame
guy- gimme my f**ckin money back you f**cker
me- your cursin at me and you expect money? HA
guy- f**ck you gimme my f**ckin money f**cker
(seein any patterns?)
me- um... no
guy- where are you f**cker
me- im... um, in theed
*few seconds of silence*
guy- no your not i did a search, your in moenia
me- if you knew where i was why did you ask me

at this time he runs into the cantina and sees me sittin in the corner.... with my novice smuggler title up...
guy (still in tells)- your a f**ckin smuggler you knew it was unsliceable
me- maybe
at this point i start spammin askin for locked containers (:smileyvery-happy
guy (in spatial)- /yell dont let this guy slice your containers, he sliced mine and stole from them!
(please note that he too had a smuggler title up)
this goes on for a few min when finnaly, some of the entertainers start tellin him to **edit**
guy- no, he stole stuff from my containers and he will steal stuff from yours!
me- um.. if your a smuggler, why would you have me slice your containers?
the entire cantina starts laughin at him at this point cause i finnaly made him shut up, and he runs away
in the end, i finnaly bank tipped him 2k, cause it was really my fault to begin with, but hey, it was fun
ok, not that funny, but still... good times, good times

hehe these are great my comp pfried and until i can figure out waht is wronn\g with it i cant play. this thread is the only thing cominng between me and the ill effects of galaxy-withdrawl syndrome...itis...neosis .. anyway you should expet to hear some stories from me in the near future (lord willin')

Ok a bit long but 2 stories in one.
I'm in bestine dueling a guildmate for fun, a tell comes in requesting a slice. Being in combat, I don't notice it. I drop my guild buddy. /yay for the smuggler.
wannabe imp: do you sell fp?
me: sure
wannabe: can i have some, i need 200?
slicee (in tell) u gonna slice my weapon???
(me thinking: only 200?) sure 200 fp is 30k
