They took a perfectly good tactic that is smuggler by right and made it worthless in pvp. Took a tactic away that I used with success on a few occasions. Not all, but enough. And now they want to do the same thing with LD.f*****g jedi , all their whining has done is made me pick up bh so I can annoy em.

FWIW, add one more jedi to stick up for smugglers getting anything BUT nerfed. Granted, I was a master smuggler from about 4 weeks into game until I needed to start dropping it for jedi skills (ground 27 additional profs, and only time I had dropped smuggler comletely was to master BH - in the master scout days) and still RP much more the smuggler than a jedi... in truth, I only started the jedi path because I was reasonably sure I could get it and finish it before the smuggler revamp. I was a smuggler when I started jedi. I watched hundreds of new jedi go out and grind smuggler for FD, only to get it nerfed (gah, the jedi community gets on my nerves sometimes...) Hey, I'm just happy I can use my spider-featherweight FWG5 again. 
Last Ditch does NOT need to be nerfed. It can most certainly be improved with only pluses for smugglers. There are other skills in the game with 3 tiers, with the best version being available in the master box. Why not last ditch? Something for the dabblers, and then something better for the TRUE Smugglers. Honestly, the other specials could use some love too. What about panic shot? Remember that before the delay nerf?
Having played WoW, and seen the Dominate and Fear abiltiies in that game, I can say it would not be impossible to turn panic shot into a true panic shot. Make it truly make your opponent dive for cover, in a random direction. A delay on their attack, or whatever, doesn't do anything to change the fact that the player still has the ability to strategize, and be ready to hit keys as soon as their delay is over. Takes a lot more to jump back into a fight after diving beneath a hail of blaster fire.
More smuggler love: slicing. The code is in the game for bio-linking factional armor. Same should be available in the slicing discipline for smugglers, allowing them to link a personal weapon, and slice it better than a non-linked weapon. WHAT smuggler is going to slice someone else's stuff as good as their own? WHERE in any of the movies or EU did you see Han, Lando, Talon, or Mara shouting to the masses "now slicing weapons and armor!" Nowhere. Cause any modifications were done to their own stuff to give them an edge.
And really, shouldn't smugglers get a boost to burst run? I mean, come on!
