And if we're talking Buffy, then we gotta mention Faith. Mmmmm, Eliza.
IMO, Hands down Inara wins on beauty. But, watch the ep title Out of Gas, Kaylee has the innocent, not so innocent, aspect going for her."....I noticed it when I was down there on my back....."
Nah Jewel Staite/Kaylee is much more attractive![]()
Kind of hard to agree. Jewel and Eliza are, about, equally attractive in my eyes.

Only if you're smoking crack. Kaylee ftw!
She's smart. She's talented. She's got that perfect mix of shy and innocent blended with blunt bad girl. And she looks damn fine without hours of makeup and careful hair primping and not needed the perfect shoes. She looks good on her back fiddling parts or in a dress. See how good Inara looks when her clothes are ragged from real work and you tell me they're equals.

Yeah one wears make-up the other oil, hardly a debate

Well I have to agree. Jewel appears to have that natural beauty that draws me a lot more than those that wear make-up. Have to admit that appearance of innocence gets to me. I didn't want to say it in the last post, but since you opened the door...=)

Ok...I'm up to "Our Mrs. Reynolds"...and I've gotta say...only a MASSIVE fumble by the network could screw this up...which we've already established is what happened...
I mean, the writing, casting, acting...and well...EVERYTHING else about the show is just AWESOME!
I haven't laughed this hard in a very long time. And, I don't think I ever laughed this hard when I watched Buffy...
This show has so many seasons left in it...it would be great if Sci-Fi would pick it up in syndication and contract new episodes...there are so many places to go with this show. I don't think a two-hour movie...or even several two-hour movies are going to cover...
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!

Thought I'd just chime in on this thread and say I watched Firefly from the very first episode to the last episode the first time they aired, and I own the DVD set.
Can't wait for the movie.
Also, I predict after the movie comes out, if new episodes aren't made and picked up by Fox again, it will show up *somewhere*. We haven't seen the last of Firefly after the movie.

Bah, forget Firefly - Ice Pirates was a nifty movie, then again I think I was like 12 when I saw it (that was only like a decade and a half ago, I'm sure it's still cool... heh.)

Was watching the series again when I noticed in the pilot, that there's a very similar situation as in Empire Strikes Back.
They're going to meet someone for a smuggling deal, with an old "friend".
Mal, and Zoe are waiting for their contact to arrive, and then they arrive, with about 6 men armed behind her.
One of the first things she says "I that Zoe, you still hanging around with this bum?" Seems very reminscent of a certain ex-smuggler to me

Zoe: "Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing?
Book: "Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps."

It's not. Trust me on this one. Sometimes it's better not to look back.
