Wha.....what??!! We actually GOT SOMETHING for the Smuggler that ties into Jedi?
Holy Corn on a Stick!
Please let this be the start of Smuggler visibility in the land of the devs...

Oh comon don't get too excited now you will ruin all the and discontent we are stocking up here. Besides you know thats just an afterthought if it wasn't we would have had the ability to begin with.
/sarcasm off
Believe it or not, it's just as bad for them. Weapon XP conversion is at 30 to 1 and Combat XP is 3 to 1, so someone calculated 255 cap'd out loads of weapons xp or 76.5 cap'd out loads of combat xp.

I calculated 75,200 slices at 250 xp per slice to get one Senses skill tree...
...rofl
They must have wet themselves laughing when they added that ratio in
.
I mean seriously, if a combat profession were made to kill 75,200 jantas in order to get one box.. well, the Devs would realise that was just daft andeven if they didn't, everyone would be crying blue murder. Ah well, maybe they'll realise the ration is unfair and change it in our favour slightly?

have you not looked at what bonueses you get from these, persuasion gives you cheaper skill raining, fantastic, for an already master msuggler, who wants to be a master smuggler thats really useful.
I'm sorry, I've read and re-read your post, but I have no clue what you're saying. "cheaper skill raining"?
I can't decipher this....

Isnt the Persuasion line what the Jedi are using to look like Imps when they gank Imp TEF'd players? I thought the skill had an actual usefullness of allowingForce Sensitivesto appear as members of the Faction of the viewer... something we Smuggs have wanted for AGES.

OK so can I be a voice of dissent? Perhaps the unpopular POV?
Do the Devs want me to uninstall SWG and move over to KOTOR or something? Our class is already broken beyond imagination (I honestly play for the social angle) and this is the solution - go away and be a Jedi wannabe?
Is it going to be the case that everyone needs to jump on the latest FoTM bandwagon and hysterically grind more XP to differentiate between a Master Smuggler and an FS Master Smuggler to be able to be a contender in the Smuggling field? Is that what is being proposed?
Make slicing depend on Skill - the luck element is gone when you use a clamp. There is no reason a Master, who has taken the time to work up their experience, should not be able to get a good slice - viatechnology - without the intervention of SWG's magic system.
I am sure there are more of us - I am one of those players who believe the huge influx of Jedi into the game is pushing it off the tracks and if I feel like I am being channeled into a Jedi grind, then "cancel" looks all the more appealing as that is NOT the game I signed up to play.
vila.
From what the current FS skills say, I can't see a huge benefit to the smuggler profession by becoming FS, aside from maybe vehicle control in a round about way. Combat, sure...crafters, yes...but Smugglers....not much.

Cool!
Anychance we can have the force skills apply to anything a smuggler does? Reduce delagate faction costs, improve slice chances, decrease spice down time ... even increase low blow stick percentage or the down time. I'm just not sure that anything in the sense line is going to apply to smugglers.
