My answer is conditional: Iff (if and only if) I feel the reward outweighs the risk, I am all for it. Risk cannot be absent completely, however, or that would be unfun, but it must not overwhelm the reward or that too becomes unfun.

YES.
And as someone else said on the previous page, what have we got to lose? It's not like it could be become any more worthless?

Yes.
As I posted in another thread, this is an illegal operation and shouldn't be people yelling next to starports that they are slicing like the were pawning watches and stuff like a common vendor. There should be risk of being caught for the smuggler as well as the person looking for the services.

Remember, the question is qualified with a "ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL" which means....
We don't know if the system would suck or not. It could rule. It coudl be terminals.

Yes and then also, as true_Kieran mentioned...
I believe that the current state of our combat abilities would leave even a Master Smuggler struggling against a Master Bounty Hunter unless they had invested a considerable portion of their remaining skill points in a combat profession or two.

Yes and No
Yes if we are talking about a risk
No if we are talking about getting ourselves on Bounty terminals for example.
Don't forget that the lower the smugglers skills are (the newer he is), the less he will be able to defend himself, especially against a bounty hunter. Someone who tries to get his skills up a bit and gets killed three times in 2 hours may not find it as funny, that would not mean risk but suicide.
