Thread: A Poll On Smuggling and Risk
Vampire...I'm putting it barebones a or b way in case we DO have to make that desicion. No one's saying it HAS to be this way. I'm merely trying to find out if people would except it if it were this way, as it is a common arguement against ANY sort of meaningful contraband implementation that we'll lose business if being busted with contraband means something. I'm curious how the community feels about this. So, all things being equal would you risk taking a hit to sales (large or small, you don't know) if it meant actual smuggling (which could be your fondest dream come true, or an absolute suck pit of boredom)? All things being equal and us being ignorant.
Personally, going blindly I'd say yes because if there's a system we can fix it. That's my vote.
hell effing yeah
Umm... I'd even be so bold as to say, take away slicing and making spices, just let me smuggle for players!
that was the first thing i thought when i read the first post.
i'm even warming up to being on bounty terminals... and i vehemethly hated it at first.
A definate and very strong YES.

So the question? Many people have argued that smuggling needs a risk. Many others have said that said risk would hurt business. The poll is would you accept a hit to yoursalesof spices and sliced weaponsif it meant really smuggling (moving illegal goods from point a to point b) for players for money?
