I was totally looking towards the slicing mini game ![]()
Hey... Good for you!
I don't care if there is a mini game or not.... I just wish that they would communicate more. So... if they decide that they are going to make a change from what they originally told us they were going to do... theycould at least tell us more then just a couple of days before hand. And maybe one day who knows! Theymay actually listen to some of our input on this...
I think it's good customer service and all.... but I won't hold my breath.
I for one am sick of every damn new item being added to this game aloot drop. Im sorry but as a crafter i dont have the ability nor the time to go get this crap on my own and people want to charge an arm and leg for the loot drops. Only to increase price on them more. And for my smuggler alt i sure the hell wont be out aimlessly kiling every npc i can see for the loot. Sorry but the smuggler profession is just a sick joke.
What else are the dev's going to screw up next............ im so close to leaving this game.

if you want things done just start posting links to here to all SWG Fansite fourms, as well as making a ruckuss on gaming sites review systems, like lowering the rating on it, as well as voicing your "Comments" on the game.
Doesn't work... lol.

I like thenew system of slice, its fun, but i dislike the obligation to fight hardcreatures just to do one good slice. Please misters devellopers, give to the smuggler a real and "starwarsy" place in your fabulous universeIts an35 years fan who ask that to you
We could imagine some missions for smugglers to gain slicing tools, or new schematics...Ive read a lot of good ideason this forum, so dont let the smugglers without job..help us
ps: sorry for my english faults..
I have to agree with you. However, what I'm hoping is that once they introduce some "smuggler content" we will be able to "smuggle" these loot kits out of smuggler missions. Sure, there is still the leg work issues, but I think it would give back slicing to smugglers, rather than the uber combat types who are going to be selling these slice kits like krayt pearls.

I'm fine with the loot system
IF
We get it as a reward from smuggling missions if they ever get in game.
Otherwise, no, I hate it.

As a suggestion, I think we are missing the whole point, and it saddens me greatly that we have lost the vision as a whole. Every one is crying that "It would be ok if they just made the drops more frequent." So we really only care about how it affects us personaly, and not the game as a whole. The terrifying aspect of this "loot drop" dependancy is that it breaks yet another link in the player to player economy. We no longer rely on anyone for supplies to maintain our virtual jobs. So how about this:
Keep the loot drops (but a little easier to at least find), but make the drops componetnts for armor smiths and weaponsmiths to create the slicing kits we need to slice with.
Also, make the things that drop them make a little sense. Why should anything I pull off a Kryat Dragon's corpse help me upgrade a blaster?
Am I the only one that sees this as a fix we could all live with?

Okay... Someone find out what the minimum combat level of an invoice smuggler is. That's the level of the mobs that the lowest level of slicing component should be found on. But not rare - for the low level stuff! The better the component, the higher level the mob and the rarer it becomes.
But no Kryat's (or other animals for that matter)... that's just too EQ for me.

Question though?
Why couldn't they leave it like it was using clamps/knives to do the new slices and just add these looted things as a way to get a lil over the slicing caps?
