I think the ARC170 is a neutral ship from the looks of it. If not, that sucks. And is anyone else getting tired of hearing new info about our game on OTHER websites?

the rebel and imperial ships are just what ? existing ships with a few shiny knobs and bells on and probably more mass. BIG WHOOP like thats big news. There'e not new ships just re-hash's.
Episode 3 ships, CASH IN, soe you should be ashamed of yourselves
I guess jedi will now be uber in space, and they can use the force to get more components into there ships or something.

Check out the latest screenshots from the EPIII: Rage of the Wookiees expansion, revealing new spaceships and exciting new spaceship modifications for existing spaceships. You can even get a look at the new mining ship, the Jedi fighter and Grievous' Fighter. Click here to read the full article. This means, that it is pictured in one of the pictures, or, the grievous' fighter and the jedi fighters ARE the new mining vessles. But, it's always possible that those specs of ships we see in the background are what they call "mining ships". Or they could have just f%cked up... Your call... I caught this when I clicked on the link, disapointed that it didn't go out and say what the new ships are (clearly labling it as a mining ship).
SO I should call you MISTER Genius then?
The new mining vessel is NOT pictured. If any of the craft can haul TWENTY people, then I singlehandedly built the Empire State Building.
For those of you who did not either read about the POB ship, or the mining attachments for existing ships, I submit the following links:
Xwing apparently mining

Ok, first off, the whole "bwahahaha! I'm all smarter than you!" was just a joke... But I think what they meant, was that either one of the big ships in the background of the pictures is THE mining ship, or that soe just royaly screwed up... Who knows? Maybe all that info about this and that and the BIG POB ship is just misinformation that has been changed, or whatnot (though I seriously doubt it)... But really, who knows? I'm hoping for a big@ss ship, and I pray to GOD that everyone can use it (or atleast master pilots) and that I don't need to fork over megaskillpoint to use it... If they do, then... Well... Goodbye BH for me...

What do you expect?
For the Rebels there arent many starfighters available so you modify what you got.
The Empire got quite alot TIEs available, I wonder why they did create the Oppressor and the Aggressor and didn't add in the Imperial Assault Gunboat (also called Star Wing).
And there yet more to come. The TIE Advanced MkII and the TIE Defender, but I don't want to be in space when they fly around...

Don't forget the Missile Boat. It would have one gun and a number of missile launcher slots. That would be cool.
I loved dogfighting in that thing. It was a challenge, with its one gun.
But screw the Defender. That thing is ugly.

It would have been a lot better if they developed a Heavy A-Wing instead of the Z-95. It at least already has around 65k mass capacit, and it would be really interesting to see what could be done with it if they gave it even 50% more mass cap. (around 100k) Very interesting.... anyone agree?

I read something about space mining that said the new resources mined in space can be used in new schematics to make more massive versions of older ships. This basically will make an entire fleet of new ships indirectly by beefing up all of the old ships mass.
Here's the text:
High-Mass Ships: High Mass Z-95 Headhunters, TIE Fighters or Light Hutt Fighters can be crafted with the proper schematics. Each of these space ships has an increased mass that makes it comparable with higher tier ships of a similar class
Here's the link:
http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=Rage%20of%20the%20Wookiees:%20Space%20Mining
I'm not sure if those are the only ships that will have higher mass schematics or if all ships will, but it will still be nice to be able to beef up some of the smaller ships.

From reading a post last week on some board some where... There are also in the RotW expansion modified Nuetral ships that simply have not been posted yet.
Now if this is true and simply not total BSit would make more sense to myself. This way all 3 lines have better mass ships and the new ships could then be used for any of the 3 space professions. It does not make much sense to me to not already have new pictures out formodified nuetrals but at the same time it makes even less sense to give all the "true" new designs for nuetrals to fly. Though this also seems a bit more confusing as Imperial ships would then have non standard craft flying around and looking more rag-a-muffin. THough if true, I'm sure the Imps would love it as they would finally have ships they can texture and paint.
So personally i am waiting for more Friday Features to see if in fact Nuetral ships have modified ones and if any more ships havenot been posted yet. Why announce all the new ships so early to give people less things to talk about as the "gone live" date gets closer?

i would love that, i would like to hold onto a Tie/Ln for longer then i can now. i love the idea of being able to choose lower tier ships and making them stronger.

I hear the heavy versions of the novice fighters have 95K mass. Which is about 2-3 times what I was expecting out of them; could end up being pretty fun additions.

Interesting, that could make the Heavy Z-95 a better choice for Interception than the A-Wing, considering the weapon loadout is the same, yet you have more supported mass to install a bigger engine.
