the way i see it is that the slicing system is messed up ( not that we know that already ) and a customer always wants the best for him/herself. i for one have been mostly annoyed at the fact i paid 5mil+ for a really nice weapon only to have myself slice it and get an 13% damage slice.

i do know that by slicing you improve the weapons stats but hell on a weapon i paid 5 mil for i could have gotten around 10 presliced ones for the original stats. there is just no skill in slicing which is what it needs, and with the randomness of slices some of my customers have a fit when they get that 15 % speed slice on their 6mil+ acklay stun baton.

i dont blame the smugglers , i dont blame the customers, just with the system we have and we are stuck either way.

i see no sense in myself paying so much for a weapon only to find out i have wasted it on a useless slice for that type of weapon.

also im not saying its right or wrong here but it is gettting out of of hand and something needs to be done and stop focusing on issues liek the damn jedi

Sadly they do find enough smugglers that DONT say no - and never come back to you again. My slicing requests have been going down steadily for month now - and no more jobs for factory crates of weapons and UBER weapons. I am quite sure I know where THESE customers are having their slicing done - but no proof, so /shrug

The code needs to be changed !

I thank the community for providing all the new tools and tables for comparing normally sliced weapons and PU sliced exploit weapons. And for ferreting out the exploiters selling those weapons.

Lets keep pushing this until the code is fixed !

CrazyGreggy ... can you add some links to those trade boards threads you mentioned ... helps to collect all that info in oneplace to show the devs that this is a serious and very common problem.

sure ... but you stop counting after 10k or so .... but as I said at the beginning of this thread : The days were whole factory runs were offered to me are long gone. Most weaponsmiths - if they sell sliced weapons at all - seem to take their factory crate business elsewhere to you-know-who (and I dont mean Voldemort).

Being smuggler is a way of life :-)

Cheating sucks.

However, I do like being informed, which is a trial on these forums (lithium sucks). Could someone please post a link to the dev post outlining that this is an exploit? Perhaps the link should be editted into the top post for reference.

If it is posted, I will gladly point players to it if they ask for pup slices in game.
