My question is, who besides smugglers uses these. Do armorsmiths and weaponsmiths actually use these in their crafting process'? If we are going to be given experimentation then let us make the auks and wuks. Makes a bit more sense I think. Here's a good reason why. All of the sudden you have the price of auks and wuks going through the roof because weaponsmiths and armorsmiths will know we will pay the price for good equipment. So now you have to pay 5k for a single auk or wuk. Then you go to Coronet and some guy wants you to slice his weapon and you tell him 20k for the slice and he says it should be 100 creds per % like always. You argue that now it costs us an arm and a leg to get our supplies. Add in derogatory remark about our moms followed by a banana in the tailpipe and Bam!,the ignore list starts to pile up real fast.

What kind of slicer just randomly fidgets with things until the weapon either blows up or works better? I think the slicing should be reflective of the quality of our tools, period.

I'd far rather see a whole bunch of experimentation on spices - besides which, experimenting on the clamps or pens doesn't really make any sense, surely you'd experiment on the weapon instead?
