i'm so glad i get the internet hooked up in my new apartment tonight.
i'll get to log on to this boring, non-creative new slicing system! yaaay!

Loot drops! What were you thinking? Damned loot camping garbage. Axkva Min. Acklay. Good god. Think before you do this stuff.
You are essentially requiring smugglers to group to get good slicing components.
the more I think about this the more mad I become. This feels like a betrayal.

And so they pushed it out to live anyway? /sigh. I bugged it right away, but a head's up to ya'll. My crated WUK's and AUK's don't have the "Salvage" option. Check yours and bug em'. I feel sorry for the peeps who though stocking up on these would be a good idea. I'm sure they'll put a fix in soon?... right? Ya' think?
I guess I'm a little disgusted. They ask us what we think, the majority of us give a RESOUNDING no to plan b, and so... they push out plan b. *shakes head*.
Yay, new stuff to... loot? Wait, what!!??

Honestly, I don't think they put this option in so Smugglers could buy up as many crates of WUKs and AUKs that they could and have them convert.
I think they did it so existing WUKs and AUKs in the system would be useful after Publish 19 went in. But of course, people will always look for the best gains they can get, and so people made the mad dash to have as many WUKs and AUKs as they could so they could get free component conversions.
Personally, I don't think there ever will be a "fix" for the crated WUKs and AUKs.

You're prolly right, but I had an awful lot on me as it is, I thinka lot of us did. It's not really fair that I can't convert them, I spent pretty good money on them. Doesn't matter to me really. I'm pretty peeved by the boring changes, so I'm sticking to slicing just for me and my hubby. I feel bad for others who never saw that crated stuff wouldn't convert on the forums.

guild mates have found some suggling pieces as loot for kryat dragons
i think that those pieces are good for level II slicing
so after many indecision i have taked the"feral" decision
i have dropped smuggler (not all for cl ... now i am cl 66 from 80 O_O) i must thank all and wish to all smuggler best luck in the future

As bad as this seemed it was worse in live you have made a mess of this and should be fired. This was the great waste with the AUK WUK mess. You have at best made a bad mistake at worst deliberate undermined the smuggler encomony. Time and energy in materials gone becasue you would not take the time to build good code and listen to the testers. This is unforgivable.

As soon as I make my credits back for the auk/wuk crates I bought just to convert 1 kit....I'mdonesmuggling. I'll leave slicing to the ppl who were lucky enough tocatch wind of this fiasco on the boards and pull enough kits to stay in business.

The fact that they didnt even bother to reply to the posts in this thread shows how much they cared about our concerns it seems. I hope "smuggling" will not be done with as much "love" as they new slicing was. This was a little more than I can hanle now, so since my WUKs and AUKs did not convert I guessthis would be a good time to drop Smuggler and try something new I guess.
