Real smuggler dont need or more importantly arnt given lubricant bend over and be happy for any "luv'in" you get.
Smugglers make their own lube, its in your spice schematics.
Did I mention that I have truckloads of that stuff?

No smugglers arnt crafters they are smugglers!
I'm extremely dissapointed in what has happened with the smuggler profession.
So much potential, and it's all been set on the back burner now for years.
I've come and gone time and time again from this profession, and have master right now, but for content, I'm seriously considering dropping it for a pure combat template so I can have some fun.
The way things are right now just don't cut it for me, and after this long I fear we are in for more endless waiting.
What happened to the 20 extra developers they hired several months ago? Patches, content and hotfixes were being pushed out at a furious pace a few weeks after they came on board, now we are right back to where we were, if not even worse off than before.
Are you kidding me? There is no way there are currently 20 devs working on SWG in total! Probably were only hired for the CU and laid off afterwards.

1. SOE isn't the enemy...
2. I would IMMEDIATELY hit cancel if LucasArts took SWG from SOE, because I specifically recall speaking to a dev that said, "If LA just let us go, you would have an experience beyond your wildest imagination."

The problem is, if one of the Devs said that to me, I wouldn't know if they were being honest or just trying to shift the blame to someone else in order to take the heat off of themselves.
I've just been lied to too many times. And each time it was by SOE employees, not LA.
I guess I'll just settle for thinking of them both as liars.

I like accountability. It doesn't seem though that anyone involved in producing this game wants to be accountable for what they do...or don't do.
I have NO clue if it is SOE or LA that is royally screwing SWG up. However I do know that SOE is directly responsible for the development effort and more importantly for communicating with us. So they are my first target.
Lucas Arts may very well pull the strings from the shadows.
You know, I think I just figured out the fairest thing to do in this case. I will simply extend my boycott of products from SOE to all of Sony (as I've said before) and on to Lucas Arts. I will not pay either Sony or LA for any product they produce from this point forward.
IF I want to see an LA film I'll simply wait till it's out on video then go watch it at a friends house that has already bought it. Simple and no skin off my back. Suck that up Sony and Lucas Arts.
The rest of the game is just killing spiders on different colored planets and a tacked on space fighter game with repetetive missions.

Smuggler is not the only prof ignored. Im msmuggler/mcommando and both proffs arebadly broken. actually can't say commando is broken, just non existant. I came for the title, but only the community has kept me here, and when star trek online comes out, im switching.....
