Thread: Smuggler State of the Profession v1.34 4/05/04
Sirgleno,
I know I've been hounding San, but I never asked him for more than he could do, and rather easily at that. This state of the profession was actually mostly done over a month ago, because San said he wouldn't update the old one. I asked him for the go-ahead to do this for him, he gave it. Since then he hadn't acknowledged anything I did with it, or even when I asked how it could hurt for him to post it as his own and sticky it that way it would at least be updated, I received no answer and no guidance. This goes for other things as well. In short, I slaved to do stuff for him and our profession, and what I got wasn't even the time of day from the person I did it for. Stuff like this really adds up and thats not even the beginning of it. If you want to listen to me go on about it more, and some of it can seem, if not is,like bleeding heart garbage, feel free to send me a PM.
Very good summary of our profession problems. Thanks for mentioning how useless Underworld is to we neutrals... heh.
One thing you might want to add to the contraband scans > droid item is the fact that the stored items are instantly accessible via hotkey shortcuts... no need to even call the droid to access your goods. It's bad enough than droids aren't scanned, but when they can be used as one way instant smuggling containers, that's even worse.
Thanks, Caylin.
If anyone could check the above mention about terminals, I'd really appreciate it. I am a bit hamstrung because if I did, I'd lose about 80k slicing xp that I really need for later. Lol.
If we are, by and large, agreed with this, I don't suppose a kindly soul could sticky this for once?
"There are only two kinds of terminals we can slice that actually work and both have to do with destroy and delivery missions. What we would like to see is the ability to slice more types of terminals like Travel terminals, Bank Terminals and all mission type terminals such as Entertainer and Scout, and have the rewards change. As it stands, when a smuggler slices theentertainer/whatever terminals, the payouts do not increase."
would this be more accurate?
Ok, main post changed to reflect that. Thanks yall.
I will repeat the request to have this stickied for once.
Faction terminals work like they're supposed to.
Slicing increases the mission payouts quite nicely. And, since faction payout is proportional to mission payout, you could also say slicing increases faction point rewards as well...
