Thread: Stupid BHs

umm.. its not being used at a first striake.. that is impossible
No, it's not. If you slap a stormtrooper, they will incap you and fine you. When you get up, you are at the perfect health to fire off a hell of a Last Ditch. The negative accuracy can be overcome easily with food. Add in health buffs through doctors, food, spice and health crystals, and you can easily take down a Jedi in one shot.
Personally, I don't think it's an exploit so much as incredibly cheesy. If a BH from my guild were to use the special in this way, I'd have them stop, or push to have them removed.
I am sick and tired of my profession getting caught in the BS between BHs and Jedi. I firmly believe that smuggler, BH and Jedi should be mutually exclusive professions to limit crap like this. Alternatively, just remove the BH missions for Jedi. I actually preferred it when BH required master scout and master marksman and Novice Padawan took 250 skill points. The chances of their dabbling to screw up other people were very small or zero.
I think Last Ditch is fine. I just think people need to learn respect and sportsmanship for this game, rather than "me, me, me" all the time. I'm tired of it.

Well itwould had been nice if they still required novice masteries for hybrid boxes. And seeing that 2 bhs from the same guild, (one being the ldr on his bh alt), were doing the same thing to get downin health, is basically what I call a problem. I said in my first post, the bhs are abusing it to kill jedi.
There is alot of things that jedi have brought up in general that would rectify alot of the problems with our proffession yet for the most part the Devs would rather nerf stuff.
1. Little more saber block. ( Pre CU too high. Post CU too low)
2. Actually give saber tech armor back.
Stuff like that. But now this post is getting more into how jedi should be improved instead of nerfing the hell out of everything. So Im going to stop posting. Basically said what I wanted to say.
And for all those people calling me a Troll. Read what SOE consider trolling before you toss around the T word. Thk you and good night.

I hate going into cities with my jedi. Only did it pre CU for doc buffs. Then I would go out solo grinding. Now its more rewarding to be a group grinding cause you get more xp in less time than alone. So no matter what I would be on the terms.
Last Ditch is ment to deal massive damage with a less than 40% chance of hitting when used properly. This attack deals greater damage inversely related to the player's health, simultaniously lowering HAM stats to near zero or below, possibly incapacitating the user(even if the attack does not strike the opponent); the ultimate risk for a moderate reward, meaning it has become an ideal attack to use as a final resort, thus the name, Last Ditch. The method to reach the ideal range of Health to do maximum damage, while potentially being unsporting, is irrelevent.
Is the idea of a player using a quirk in the system to immediately bring thier health is cheap, cheesey, and despicable? Yes.
Is it fair? That's arguable.
Is it clever? Deffinately.
Does it always hit? Not a chance.
Is it avoidable? Completely. Avoid standing around Storm Troopers, avoid NPC cities and large crowds of players and NPCs, don't equip your saber/robes/use force powers/Jedi-related titles in public; above all else, do your damnedest to stay off the terminals. If anyone has a Bounty Hunter after thier ass, its thier own damned fault. Nobody is forced to group to advance/gain experience. For Jedi, its another Risk versus Reward situation.
Quit complaining about people using thier heads to outsmart other people.

No.

Its more rewarding, but with reward goes risk. If you want the fast xp, you take the risk of being hunted. And as for the "thats not how this shot was intended", remember that the devs cannot see the future; sure, they may have ideas about how specials will work, but this game is played by living, breathing, intelligent, *thinking* (well, sometimes) people. That means that new combinations are thought up, and not every combination or tactic can be predicted. This is what makes the game fun, it't not linear because people decide how to play on their own, not get told how to use their specials by the devs.

LD works like 1-3 times for me. Most times I dont get the kill. I'm not a PvPer right now (will be when Jedi arn't), but it seems to me you would be screwed with the auto incap LD produces if Jedi have incap recovery and get up before you do.
Like I said though, dont know for sure.
If they ever fix TKM force of will, it wont be so risky if you have that as a template.

REPORT HIM.
And people wonder why some Smugglers hate the Jedi.
If you see someone exploiting - report them. If you THINK you see someone exploiting- Report them and if it is an exploit the players will get appropriately slapped. If you just want to whine and complain - save it for your Jedi board where it's expected.
You were quite right about the BH moving to the next template that turns up that helps kill Jedi better - you better start preparing your next rant.
Cheers
