The thing is, the same select group of people have been the ones trying to stir up the flames. It's not a couple sparks, it is a couple people running around throwing matches everywhere in the hope that something will blow up.

I see where you're coming from Tomo (or at least I think I do), but despite the problems plaguing our profession we lose all credibility if we resort to the same childish antics of the Jedi and BH. Once Jedi were introduced, BH's became insanely important to the folks at SOE as a means of additional player content. Well, now we have 2 flagship professions...BH & Jedi. The CH's have been mishandled, Commandos can't do anything, and it took forever for Doctors to be able to do the jobs they were designed for better than some kid with a full branch in Jedi healing. I can't get behind the mentality here of "we're angry! Look at us complain!! SOE is full of !!!!"

Lots of professions have been messed with, and no one forced anyone to stay a profession. While I would like some noted smuggler content, I'd also like to see rangers get something. I've never subscribed to the concept of "me me me and then maybe you." If they want to go, then by all means go. I've already wished them well in their journey, but I really don't care about the agenda they're trying to push when they sound like kids doing it. Screaming "I quit" doesn't affect SOE nearly as much as simply cancelling your account.

Well I DID cancel my account today and I'll bet you 10 times that $20 I don't return.

As for our so-called "credibility" please do explain WHAT credibility that would be and what it's got us the past two years?

And please point to ANY smuggler that's subscribed to "me me me and then maybe you". In fact I'd say we've been the BRUNT of that very saying and asking for the SMUGGLING content we've been promised numerous times does NOT make us selfish in the least.

You by all means stay around and pay Sony for shody workmanship and lies, I'm no longer their lapdog.

Ah well it IS becoming only a game for Jedi, everyone else is just cannon fodder or a support profession.

I put my reasons in another thread...Im not going to keep paying them month after month after month waiting for them to fix the game and my favorite professions.If they do fix everything - then I'll come back and pay to play this game the way I was before. I had forgotten all about that. You got banned for that?I didn't know that. Sorry, bud.If something was that precious to me, I'd most likely be upset, and have nothing to do with that person again. Not much of an issue with me, since I don't get too attached to "things". I'm in a great relationship, and there is very little that I think of as just "mine". If I got mad enough to leave my wife, I'd pretty much just be packing my clothes, my limited CD collection, and whichever of the vehicles she didn't want to keep. I bounce back from stuff pretty easily. Violence wouldn't enter into the equation. Self-defense, or the defense of others is the only reason to me to hurt someone. I've had to do it before, I may have to do it again, but there will always be a better reason than some "thing" I got mad about.

Not that I'm a pacifist, mind you. I love my gun collection, I'm pro-hunting, pro-Death Penalty, and pro-shooting to kill anyone who breaks into my house with the intention of hurting anyone I care about. You can say me and Ted Nugent have a lot in common. I just don't believe in senseless violence. And beating a woman who isn't out to kill me falls under my "senseless" category. Hope that answers your question.
