keep your eyes open over the next few weeks and months, when i get the 40+ slices i'll post them for all too see.
Anyone on intrepid who know's Mork Ork will know that he is honest and trustfull. As well as mad when he fight's lol.

Regardless what you people say. If you have gotten any slices over 35% on weapons and swear to not cheating ( putting powerups on weapons while slicing is an exploit ) you are utterly and completely full of crap.
I have sliced probably close to 1 thousand weapons and have NEVER gotten any slices on weapons above 35%.

Regardless the powerup would have had to be placed on the weapon when he opened the slice window.
There is a warning that pops up telling you to remove the powerup before slicing.

no all powerup's removed and normal slicing rules apply, shunt with clamp, cut the two wires, slice complete. All clamps and knivesare made with high con copper, even tho it makes no diffrence. The only way i can prove this is to wait til it happens next time and post the screenshot and result here for you all to see.

I use 97% effec molecular clamps, I harvested 600k of the copper so I've been using it for a while. My knives are 95% and my WUK's are around 80%.
Effectiveness on tools makes no difference. I contract slice meaning sitting and slicing for a few hours at a time, normally sets of 3-500 weapons.
NEVER has a slice above 35% on weapons happened.
All I can say is that you'll be waiting for a very long time to find a slice above 35% on weapons because it won't happen.

Then I'm out of ideas now, the fact that you get a message to remove the powerup make is very unlikely that it was possible to "accidently" use the exploit in the last few month, and I guess he's not speaking about beta stuff. Additionally the fact that so many smuggler never had a weapon slice anywhere above 35% makes the story a bit unbelievable.

Ok i can see what your saying but all i can add is i'm telling the truth. Just out of interest do any of you know if what the item your slicing is made from makes a dif?

Slicing only takes the damage and speed into context. The components in the weapon makes no difference.

Anything over 35% on a weapon is either an exploit, or a hoax.

I've been slicing over 200 items a week for about half a year now and 35% is the highest slice i've ever gotten on weapons.
Anything else is absolute bull**edit**.

Boy you folks sure do get your willies all bent out of shape over nothing. I've never had a 45% weapons slice but I had one singular 41% one, brand new weapon off the vendor, was slicing for a good damage slice, kept buying and slicing. I kinda "Whoe'd" at that because Idoubted it was possible. I've been a Master Smuggler for about 5 months now, only seen it once.
Now on armor n stuff I see 40% slices all the time.
Get unkinked, your playing a game, sometimes the games code itself does wierd **edit**. If you want to get bent out of shape about something **edit** about the fact that they wasted time with holoemotes while half the professions in game are still ass broke, not that a few people have gotten a very few> 35% slices.

Funny how those like yourself who claim over 35% on a weapon can never produce a screenshot of the system message. I would think for most smugglers if they hit that high they would be omg printscreen! So I will 'unkink' myself when you uncluster yourself and keep the bullsh*t to a minimum. We get enough bull here from the devs without having to put up with it from fellow smugglers.
