I started to post about what type of personality always goes for the other professions and came to a realization. I am a smuggler because we rock your lame ass.

When I started playing my first thought was of going TKM, but after the terrible grind up to UA 4 not using vk's (didn't know about that trick until 3/4 of the way through lvl4 
) I went bugger it and looked around for another prof. I saw smuggler and thought well, since in nearly all rpg's I've played Ive been a rogue, theif, assassin or generally criminal type of charecter then smuggler might be a good choice.

Even though Ive gotten dissapointed with the proffession now and then and dropped it to try other things I've found that sooner or later it calls to me and I must once again walk the dodgy path with the lovable scum and vilianery of the universe 
I don't display my title often, nor do I slice/sell fp or spice very much nowadays, or even use a pistol with any regularity..... but I still know that I am a smuggler......and will always be one, in heart if not in truth

I wish i could say it was for the chicks, but us good looking bothans are a rare species indeed...so instead, its because us smugglers are the coolest people in this game.

Lol well in the movies Luke did not want the girl lol ickky!
I am a Smuggler cause my toon is a scoundrel. He is a smooth talking criminal, he is charming, sauve and very believable. I love to RP and I play it to the hilt, talking with IMPs I will smooth talk them. I love getting scanned, I even talk with NPCs if people are around. I usually have a smart alec remark handy. Yet I am still wise, a young life with the long expereince of a smuggler makes for a older man.
Though, I need to start getting rid of women, one of them is gonna start shooting the others if she finds out. THen again, that is part of the attraction...danger.

Smuggler sings to me...sly...crafty...always having an escape handy. They can be your best friend or worst enemy. Besides any prof with a Dirty Fighting tree is for me. Smuggler fits my personality. As I said in another thread. I chose Smuggler and Commando because I wanted to shoot someone in the groin.....then light them on fire.

I'm a smuggler cause it is good for RP'ing and it is fun to play. Yeah I know the revamp isn't here yet, but this class is still the best in the game if you ask me. And what is really funny is I am not even to master yet and I still can have some fun with it. Just the idea of being a back alley shady type of guy is really cool.

Hmm I expected to see a lot of threads saying "Cause I like bending over on a regular basis". Instead I am pleasantly suprised. Not that I am not the first to spew said rectal reference but this is cool.
When Iread the Han Solo trilogy I said"Damn I want to be a smuggler".
I mean comon Solo made the movies, not whiney little Luke.
By the way Han shot first.

Because I'm a criminal and I love it! NO, I'm not going out and picking duels, in fact I've been challenged to a total of 11 duels and I've died ZERO TIMES! Because I don't accept them..I work hard not at being some super thief, but as a slaver (History only) a coward (see above) a creep (So well, that a weaponsmith won't RP being alone with me, brought 160k of items from her and she brought friends to watch over her) a spice dealer (My tatooine house is full of junk and broken equipment, it's a spice house, not a store)
No, I'm not close to being Han Solo, maybe closer to Greedo (sp?) (The Rodian he shot) And it's fun!
That's why I'm a smuggler, it's F.U.N!

Its a cool profession even though we get little love, we get hounded by the people we slice for, for not giving them what they want. I picked it after I had done a few profs and decided it would fit the persona i was trying to fill, My Last name. Hope we get lots of love shortly, I mean space is where the smuggler is most at hoome.
