Our hearts go out to all of you. We know how you feel, though you chaps and ladies are much better at keeping the "stiff upper lip" than we colonists. We're a bit more demonstrative. Just keep the faith, we'll find these bastards and give them the Pb enema that they so richly deserve.Even if you do pronounce "Aluminium" wrong.Message Edited by justMaveric on 07-08-2005 10:01 AM
*sigh* BTW there's no "e" in "town"

"Britain is now burning with fear, terror and panic in its northern, southern, eastern, and western quarters"But you know what trully amases me about us British is that this kind of thing doesn't "terrorise" us, it inflames us, angers us and makes us even more determined to stomp whoever did it. So if they truly believe this has Britain "burning with fear, terror and panic" they are completly mistaken. I saw nothing today but cool controlled anger and profressionalism. No panic, no terror, no fear. The country and, I suspect, the rest of the western world is just that much more determined to find people like Bin Laden and erase him from the planet.
QFFE.
I'm sure I'm echoing everyone here from the UK's sentiments when I say thank you all for your kind words.

It's a shame to see more innocents must pay with their lives because a few low life slime balls think they can change the world with blind hatred and senseless violence. I don't know the words to express completely the sadness and sympathy I feel for you folks right now. The Brits stood by us when many would not. I hope the US will step up to the plate and offer whatever is asked to assist.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

This dropped of the front page and I think we should keep it up there for a couple more days for any late comers, or godforbid, those whose lives were affected by this and won't be checking the forums anytime soon. Especially in the wake of our Smuggler Forum Wide Lovefest.
Remember folks: Think Globally, Smuggle Locally
Yeah, first thing I thought when I heard they had set bombs in London is , "uh oh, those terrorist have gone and really FU'd now"
hope everyone's loved ones are safe and sound
