Here here. I'm on this train. I feel so sad about what happened there. You all are in my prayers.
Peace!

I just wish people would learn that you can't force a belief on people through any means, and especially through violence....
I hope you're all safe over there...I was watching the news today and wanted to cry; however, you Brits are composed and cool in the face of fire, so I assume you've got everything handled. The way PM Blair spoke today blew me away, he was so impressive.
/hugs to Union Jack!

Cheers lads - I appreciate it.
I commute to - and work in - the City myself, and so it was a bit close to home today.
Luckily, I'm a bit further west in Hammersmith. Glad my appointment in Holborn was cancelled though.

I hope everyone is safe and well and that they catch these bastards and hang themup by their naughty bits.
Two good friends of mine were in London this morning and were scheduled to take the tube to Amsterdam. We didn't hear anything for hours. Finally, we got an email from the younger of the two saying that she'd borrowed a computer from a very nice Dutch man and that they were safe. They'd hated the craphole they'd stayed in so they left on the earliest train they could get on and exited the tube about 20 minutes before...
So here's to you. Best wishes

I'm glad to see that London is dealing the same way we in NYC did. There's sadness and anger, but there's also the strength and the dedication toreact and overcome, thus foiling the intention of the attacks in the first place.

Yep! I'm back to work (as is the rest of my govt department) and although we're a tad disturbed by yesterday's events, the vast majority of the City's population has just got back into the swing of things.

Cheers, all. Really appreciate it. Central London was a surreal place yesterday.
Bit sad and geeky but...

Luckily not in that part of the country but had friends who are. Still a massive shock for everyone.

Our hearts go out to all of you. We know how you feel, though you chaps and ladies are much better at keeping the "stiff upper lip" than we colonists. We're a bit more demonstrative. Just keep the faith, we'll find these bastards and give them the Pb enema that they so richly deserve.
Even if you do pronounce "Aluminum" wrong.
