My enlistment in the US Marine Corps was up 7 months before 9/11 and I have kinda beaten myself up for not getting back in shape and reenlisting. Most of us in the states know the absolute burning anger of seeing civilians killed by gutless terrorist bastards and we wholeheartedly send our prayers and thoughts across the pond to our British brothers. The terrorists that have done this deserve a worse fate than I can possibly come close to describing in this forum.

Pints and Pie all around....we all shall overcome.

Actually left London by train an hour and half befor ethe bombings. Which was nice, because i'd been on the (now blown up) stretch of the Piccadilly line that bought it.

My thoughts?

"F*ck you. Am i supposed to be scared now? Hah."

We'll do what we do, we'll go to work, we'll rebuild, we'll host the bloody Olympics like nobody ever saw before.

What we don't do is take out anger on our own people (so many poor Muslims have been placing flowers on Tube stations, it makes you want to weep) or go invade the first country with funny spelling that sends us a badly made video.

Terrorism can only frighten the weak.
