Lol. Dancer xp gained from standing around afk for hours is worth MORE than what we get for mountains of button-clickage and hours of fighting with that masochistic nightmare of a trade-window. I'm not complaining *too* much (particularly since previously slicing xp was not convertable), but I suppose that this is to be expected.
Now, token gripes aside, dancer xp is ALL that masters dancers get, correct? And presuming that it caps out around where ours does (does it?), they still wind up with the shorter end of the stick. But still, I had to whine a *little* anyway.

Making Han force sensitive would be oh so cheesy. It would actually make me stop thinking about Star Wars being a good product completely.

I believe the force sensativity (rated in midi chloriants [sp?]) of key SW characters (pre-movies/EU and movie characters) has been listed in some role play book. I remember seeing a post somewhere listing all these characters with their ratings beside their name and Han was there with a count of around 800, with the minimum Jedi training requirement being 5000... or something like that; I read thisa while ago
. That said, I've not seen the actual book it was referencing, so it could be all bollox anyways

hrm.. someone said in the eu he was actually force sensitive
Han is FS he never knew it in the movies, it's explained in EU.
Which book/whatever is this in? Really does something to the Han Solo character in my mind, not sure I like it.
Of course it makes a point against all the people on the SWG forums complaining that there will be so many FS characters if so many of the original Star Wars characters end up being FS. Maybe there are more FS people in the galaxy than we're let in on, so it's not so rare as it seems.Ok while I've read the HST I never bothered with any others, with that said this is what Ive been told :Years after Return of the Jedi, Luke falls victim to the dark side and Lea and Han (who at this time learns he is FS) make little Solo's who are very FS and grow up to take the evil Luke out. How accurate this is I have no idea (please someone confirm or rebut this). I have no idea which book its in but my sourse seems trust worthy. That story line seems a little silly so I never bothered to follow up with any of those books.Message Edited by yimaz on 08-20-2004 02:33 PM
I read all about that, but I don't remember it saying Had finds out he's FS.
Leia is Luke's sister, and is FS. In fact, it's known that "The Force is stong in (their) family." So the kid's FS comes from Leia, not Han.

As far as i am concerned, if it did'nt happen in the movies - it did'nt happen.
GeorgeLucas created the Star Wars story, did he create these other stories also?

why are yall so impatient to get your jedi ? if you're not enjoying the game now (i.e. grinding to get the jedi asap hoping for new "content"), why do you think you'll enjoy it as jedi, specially when reading all the whines on jedi boards, it's obvious that they're not happy with their neon.
the new system is for people who don't care bout jedi and who might unlock it by playing the game, after 1 year or even more.
grinders are screwed, and this makes me happy, sorry for you guys, but it'll make the game more healthy to play without all those solo/uber/afk/Imastereditin2hoursandImproudofit people.
nothing is forcing anyone to go grind to get the jedi char as soon as possible. remember that it's your choice to not enjoy the main game and sit here or there for hours of clicking. with the new system, most of the powergrinders will be out of the system, simply cause it's WAY too boring to grind after publish 10. it doesn't make sense. just go and enjoy the main game, build a template, join a PA, open a shop, whatever. forget about jedi, and you might get it if you're ENJOYING the game enough to stay in long enough to get there. if you want a jedi asap and you're not enjoying the game, spending 3, 4, 5, 6 months of dumb clicking won't make you enjoy it more.

not to complain about them giving us something... but shouldn't it atleast be on par with medical xp ?
hmm or maybe not.. looks like they increased the requirements for everything.. oh well. whatever. I guess being able to get the first 2 boxes immediately just from slicing xp wouldn't be so bad.

I agree with Ipseck - irt should be on par with Medical xp at least. Slicing is a bloddy pain at the moment and horrendously slow to accumulate over medical xp.
I've gnawed this little bone downalready...
