Wow they actually listened! Does anyone know which fs tree this is for? I couldn't find any info for it.

Slicing XP should bea little more thanImage Designer XP since the min/max of the XP gain is about the same and the time required isa little lessfor each XP gain ( ponderous slicing UI vs ID time limit ). Taking into account that an ID can ID themselves and gain XP without requiring an external expendable resource ( PLKs, WUKs, etc... ).

Is it so hard to come up with a formula to generate the conversion ratio based on how much an average player can generate of an XP type over X amount of time?

They just threw in a conservative number and are now watching what happens. They would generate far less grief if they just added "Slicing -- [conversion pending]" with a link to a topic to hash out what the cost should be.

I realize I'm coming in late on the whole discussion about Han being Force Sensitive, but I wanted to put my two cents in.

First off, Han is not Force Sensitive, at least not in the way that any Jedi ever was. Han does however belong to a small percentage of people who do have a certain resonance within the Force. I'll quote a passage from Dark Tide II: Ruin where Jaina Solo describes meeting Jagged Fel for the first time to explain.

-
Any comment Ganner might have been about to offer died as a new and strong presence sent ripples out through the Force. Jaina knew from having been around people like her father and Wedge Antilles that these ripples didn't come from any conscious use of the Force; some people just so brimmed with life and confidence that they shone like a magnesium flare in the darkest night.
-

This along with Han's amazing hunches, reflexes, and luck would certainly lead one to believe that there's something very special about Han Solo, especially when you read stuff in the Han Solo Trilogy about him sensing that he was in danger right before a bounty hunter took a shot at him from behind. There's obviously something special about people like him, Wedge, and Jag (I won't go into too much detail about Wedge or Jag except to say this: when Jaina Solo and Kyp Durron were using the Force to coordinate their fire in targetting runs in their X-wings, Jag was usually able to react so that his shots were also coordinated down to the tenth of a second level) but we know that none of them are Force Sensitive in the traditional, Jedi-like sense.

I'm kinda liking the xp convertion thing- something to do with those miscellaneous xp's I've maxed out- like Droid crafting, general crafting, survey, slicing, unarmed, combat, and the bits and peices of stuff like musician and scout. Meh. Just my opinion.

GeorgeLucas created the Star Wars story, did he create these other stories also?

No

he didnt write them himself but he does have final say on the copy, and ensures everything fits within his own conception ofthe EU, having said that, this game is also supposed to be licened by GL as being SW compliant, and we as fans, clearly see that it is not.,

Even or very own Hayden Blackman has co written THe Ruins of Dantooine, based in SWG universe. In fact the only difference between the book and the Real swg was the lack of afk spamming in the book. (Suggest its aimed at theunder 14's However can be read with critical enjoyment by swg adultplaYERS.)

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, How can we do this and not make another EQ? We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."

76,500 slices

100cr per %

23% average (?- might be higher?)

76,500 x (100 x 23) = 175,950,000cr

No complaints here. Any weaponsmiths want to make a deal... ?

If you don't want me to "play the forums," then I suggest you make time playing the game more rewarding and less repetitive than "playing" here!
